The 2024 Open Championship is here, which means it's time for the final major championship of the PGA Tour. Also known as the British Open, the Open Championship is the oldest major golf tournament in the world, and the best golfers are battling it out for the Claret Jug in Scotland this week. Entering its 152nd edition, the British Open is back at Royal Troon Golf Club.
Defending champion Brian Harman is joined on the green by Masters winner Scottie Scheffler, Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and 153 other players competing. Not only is it a star-studded field, but the winner at Royal Troon will also earn a record $3.1 million winner's share from the all-time high $17 million purse.

How to Watch the 2024 British Open Championship Without Cable
The Open Championship's biggest moments will be broadcast on NBC and USA, but the first two rounds of the tournament will air on Peacock. NBC's streaming service will stream all four days of the tournament, and they will also showcase a featured hole feed highlighting the iconic par-3 ‘Postage Stamp’ 8th hole during the week.
