A source tells ET that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's romance is 'unlike anything that they've experienced before.'
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been separated by distance, but certainly not by heart. With Swift continuing the European leg of her blockbuster Eras Tour and Kelce gearing up for the forthcoming NFL season in the U.S., the couple is never more than a quick dial away.
A source tells ET, "Taylor and Travis always prioritize each other even when they are physically apart. They are still in constant communication texting and FaceTiming each other."
The source adds that the pair is "very affectionate with each other even when they're apart."
One way that Kelce apparently shows his affection is by lavishing Swift with heartfelt gifts.
"Travis sends Taylor flowers and loves to shower her with surprise gifts and tokens of gratitude," the source says. "Their connection is unlike anything that they've ever experienced before."
It's been over a year since Kelce revealed on his New Heights podcast that he tried to give Swift his phone number when attending her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City, Missouri.
Since then, Swift, 34, showed her support for her boyfriend as she attended a number of his NFL games, making her debut inside of the suites of Arrowhead Stadium in September. The "Love Story" songstress was also on hand when Kelce and the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers at the Super Bowl.
For his part, Kelce, also 34, has made several appearances at the Eras Tour during his time off from football. He even made a cameo performance on stage with her at London's Wembley Stadium in June. Most recently, he was seen in the audience during her July 18 show in in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
Swift is set to wrap up the European leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour in London with five nights at Wembley Stadium, beginning Aug. 15. It will be her first show since a thwarted terrorist attack led to the cancellation of her planned performances in Vienna, Austria, earlier this month.
She will again return to the stage on Oct. 18 to kick off another North American leg at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
Meanwhile, Kelce's pre-season with the Chiefs continues with matchups against the Detroit Lions on Aug. 17 and the Chicago Bears on Aug. 22. The Chiefs' home opener is set for Sept. 5 against the Baltimore Ravens.
A source told ET in May that the couple has been committed to making things work amid their jam packed schedules.
"He's a very supportive partner, as is she. The two are making it a point to celebrate each other's achievements, and show up when it matters most," the source said.
In June, a source explained to ET how Swift and Kelce navigate their long distance relationship.
"Taylor and Travis make sure that the current long-distance aspect of their relationship doesn't last very long," the source said. "They both move their schedules around if it's feasible and try to carve out as much time as they can to see each other, as well as each other’s families and friends."
The source added, "They prioritize each other and do anything and everything to make each other happy. Their relationship is genuine and they both want to make it work, so it does."
