The former first lady took to Twitter to reveal that she tested positive for the virus, adding that she has 'mild cold symptoms.'
Hillary Clinton has tested positive for COVID-19. The former first lady and secretary of state took to Twitter Tuesday to announce the news and stressed that she's feeling "fine" despite experiencing "mild cold symptoms."
"Well, I've tested positive for COVID. I've got some mild cold symptoms but am feeling fine. I'm more grateful than ever for the protection vaccines can provide against serious illness," Hillary said before encouraging others to get their COVID-19 vaccine and booster shots. "Please get vaccinated and boosted if you haven't already!"
Hillary also gave an updated on her husband and former president, Bill Clinton, who she says tested negative.
"Bill tested negative and is feeling fine. He's quarantining until our household is fully in the clear," Hillary shared. "Movie recommendations appreciated!"
Hillary's COVID-19 diagnosis comes less than two weeks after Barack Obama shared that he had tested positive for coronavirus.
The former commander-in-chief also took to Twitter to share the news, writing, "I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise."
He added that he and wife Michelle Obama "are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative."
"It’s a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven’t already, even as cases go down," Barack concluded.
Hillary is the latest in a long line of celebrities, business leaders and political figures to contract the coronavirus -- including recently Queen Elizabeth II as well as her son Prince Charles.
