The 30-year-old actress went public with her grievances about her neighbor in New York in a series of posts on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, even sharing his name multiple times.
"Calling all New Yorkers with a**hole neighbors -- really open to any advice you have," Duff said in a video. "My neighbor smokes cigarettes and weed all night long. My apartment reeks. Seriously, what do I do?"
"We know your parents pay your rent," she continued to claim. "We know you've never worked a day in your life -- must be nice. Have some respect for your neighbors who work hard to live in that building. Don't be a d**k, dude -- and put your trash down the shoot."
Later, she claimed she didn't get any sleep because of him.
"Worked 15 hours yesterday and back at work again at 5:30 a.m.," she wrote. "This is the real world Dieter the [eggplant emoji]. Your smoking ain't delicious."
Duff even went so far as to share her neightbor's Instagram account -- which is set to private -- and also a close-up picture of his profile picture, which she proceeded to draw cat ears and whiskers over.
Lastly, she urged her neighbor to "stop breaking all your furniture when you fight with your girlfriend or boyfriend."
"It scares me and my kid," she added. "Therapy is cheaper."
