Justin Theroux wasn't exactly laying low during Jennifer Aniston's milestone birthday weekend.
While Jennifer Aniston celebrated turning 50 with a star-studded birthday party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday night, her ex-husband, Justin Theroux, hit the town for New York Fashion Week.
Interestingly enough, Aniston and Theroux announced their split after two years of marriage last Feb. 15, just a few days after Aniston celebrated her 49th birthday. This year, 47-year-old Theroux didn't exactly lay low over the weekend as his ex-wife celebrated her milestone birthday, posing for red carpet pictures at the Opening Ceremony Lunar New Year 2019 celebration for New York Fashion Week on Sunday. Theroux looked relaxed and happy, posing with Opening Ceremony designer Humberto Leon and Leon's mother, Wendy.
On Friday night, he attended rag & bone's Fall 2019 collection after-party, where he posed with Atlanta actor Lakeith Stanfield.
Last October, a source told ET that Aniston and Theroux are both doing just fine separately following their split.
"Since they split, her friends believe their plan to move forward in life without one another was the best decision for both of them," the source said at the time. "Neither of them is pining for each other but instead, finding themselves again."
A source recently told ET that ahead of Aniston's 50th birthday, she has no hard feelings towards Theroux.
"Breakups are never easy but she truly has remained positive about the situation," the source said. "She has moved on. She feels she grew more as a person and learned more from her relationship with Justin than she has learned in any relationship in her life with a man."
"She feels her time with Justin was her deepest, most mature relationship," the source added. "While their last year wasn't easy, they remained together and she even learned from that. She feels better prepared now and one day she will be ready for an even healthier, long-lasting or lifetime relationship."
Aniston is clearly also on good terms with her first ex-husband, Brad Pitt. Pitt attended Aniston's birthday party on Saturday, and a source tells ET that 55-year-old Pitt “wanted to support” Aniston because the former couple has “been friendly” in the years following their split in 2005.
Of course, Aniston and Pitt weren't always on the best of terms following their breakup given the scandal that erupted when Pitt started dating his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star, Angelina Jolie, shortly after. Pitt and Jolie eventually married in 2014, but split in November 2016 when 43-year-old Jolie filed for divorce, and are still not officially divorced, thanks to a tense custody battle over their six kids together. However, in November, the two were able to reach a custody agreement, eliminating the need for a trial.
On Sunday, Jolie was spotted having dinner with friends at Italian restaurant Rao's in Los Angeles after her estranged husband made headlines due to his surprise attendance at Aniston's birthday. The actress appeared to be in a good mood, smiling and embracing her friend as she left.
