The couple is setting the record straight.
It's been a tiresome couple of days on the internet for Justin and Hailey Bieber.
The couple found themselves at the mercy of social media trolls on Thursday after sharing an Instagram Story dispelling a tabloid's rumor that the Purpose singer had walked out on his wife after she'd apparently gotten pregnant -- also not true.
"How dare you walk out on me and my very pregnant belly... not," Hailey quips in a video Justin shared to his Instagram stories. The post featured the caption, "How are you gonna spell my name wrong after all these years?? Haha," in response to the tabloid story misspelling Justin's last name "Beiber."
Soon after the post, however, eagle-eyed fans noticed "Taki Taki" -- a song with DJ Snake, Cardi B, Ozuna and Justin's ex, Selena Gomez -- in the search sidebar of the browser in the video the couple shared.
In response to Jelena fans online going after Justin and Hailey, Justin took to commenting in some posts for fans to "stop reading into things" so much, explaining that the video popped up after the couple watched Justin's Coachella cameo with Ariana Grande on YouTube, according to a Justin fan account, which screengrabbed the apparent captions.
Hailey also responded to trolls in a since-deleted Instagram Story, writing, "You little internet kiddos need to learn how to move on for real."
"We're adults that have better things to do than waste time explaining something just so you can stop your delusional fantasies," the post continued. "I'm not gonna sit here and let obsessive strangers try to tell me about my own husband, you wanna talk about somebodies husband then get ur own. G'night!!"
Looks like Justin and Hailey are setting the record straight!
The pair have remained close in their marriage despite public scrutiny and Justin seeking help for depression earlier this year.
