'I will never be able to put into words how much I love you.'
Gwyneth Paltrow is showing her daughter some birthday love!
On Monday, the 46-year-old actress took to Instagram to celebrate her eldest child, daughter Apple's, 15th birthday. Paltrow shares Apple, as well as a 13-year-old son, Moses, with her ex-husband, Chris Martin.
"Happy 15th birthday my angel @applemartin I will never be able to put into words how much I love you," Paltrow wrote alongside a sweet pic of Apple smiling while holding a pink rose between her teeth. "You are so strong and so good and so damn funny and sooooo gorgeous inside and out. I am the proudest mama ever. Feliz quinceañera mi vida!"
Brad Falchuk, whom Paltrow wed last September, commented on the post, gushing, "Happy, happy birthday. World's best bonus daughter."
Despite Paltrow's sweet post, she couldn't help but poke a little fun at Apple on her birthday. Following the photo, Paltrow shared a screenshot of a text conversation with the teen, where Apple offered up "some options of Apple approved birthday posts."
"Oh why thank you," Paltrow responded. "Don't need to break the old internet again, now do we?"
"Yeah let's not," Apple replied.
The text exchange is in reference to a March social media exchange between the pair, where Apple was not pleased with a photo that her mother posted on Instagram. In the shot, the mother-daughter duo is hanging out on a ski lift and, while Apple has most of her face covered by ski goggles, she still didn't give her stamp of approval for the pic.
"Mom, we have discussed this," Apple commented on Paltrow's post. "You may not post anything without my consent."
"You can't even see your face!" Paltrow replied.
