Yolanda Adams, Fantasia Barrino and Andra Day paid tribute to the Queen of Soul during Sunday’s telecast.
The music industry lost a legend this year, but her presence was surely felt at Sunday’s GRAMMY Awards.
Yolanda Adams, Fantasia Barrino and Andra Day paid tribute to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, with a powerful performance and their vocals definitely brought the house down!
The ladies slayed the Queen of Soul's classic hit, "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" and the audience gave a standing ovation at the end of the powerhouse moment.
Franklin died on Aug. 16, 2018, at her home in Detroit, Michigan, surrounded by her loved ones, after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 76.
Last month, the icon was honored with a tribute concert featuring performances from Adams, Shirley Caesar, Alessia Cara, Kelly Clarkson, Common, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Patti LaBelle, BeBe Winans, Brandi Carlile, Chloe X Halle, H.E.R., Janelle Monae and SZA.
The special, Aretha! A GRAMMY Celebration for the Queen of Soul, will air March 10 on CBS.
ET was backstage at the taping, where Dion gushed over the event.
“I feel extremely fortunate and honored that they called me to pay tribute to her, because I think that we all took, through the years, a little part of her,” Dion said. “We did not sing her tonight, we lived her.”
