Sorry Jason, it's not Optimus Prime.
Could Michael really get Eleanor to The Good Place?
"Getting to The Good Place is pretty tricky. There's no train to catch. I have to design a unique transportation vehicle," Michael (Ted Danson) begins to explain in ET's exclusive sneak peek from Thursday's new episode.
But Jason (Manny Jacinto), oh Jason, has his own ideas on what Michael's "unique transportation vehicle" is (or should be): Optimus Prime, duh. "I call right nipple!" Jason innocently claims, to the bewilderment of the others. "That's shotgun on Optimus Prime." Duh.
Of course, there are a few more hiccups prior to the reveal of Michael's "magical Good Place mobile" (see: him failing to answer the security question about his childhood pet's unusually descriptive name). But in the end, it's all worth it... maybe.
"And... presto!" Janet (D'Arcy Carden) announces, unveiling Michael's Bad Place-to-Good Place transporter: a golden hot air balloon.
"Shotgun!" Jason claims yet again, prompting Chidi (William Jackson Harper) to make a quip about the ridiculousness of it all: "It's a hot air balloon. What does that even mean?"
"Top of the balloon!" Jason replies with wide-eyed wonder. Duh, Chidi. "Ultimate shotgun." Why can't we all be Jason Mendoza?
