There's a 'good baby' on the way!
Cush Jumbo is pregnant with her first child, and so is her character on The Good Fight!
The British actress, who plays the lightning-quick-witted lawyer Lucca Quinn on the CBS All Access series, revealed to ET's Cameron Mathison at the Critics' Choice Awards on Thursday that she is six months pregnant with her first child and that her pregnancy will play a role on the show. And she couldn't be more excited for all of it.
"It's been great, because the Kings, who write the show, have written it into the show so Lucca and I are as pregnant as each other, and we're dealing with some of the same issues ... such as needing a snack or a pee in the middle of a really important scene!" Jumbo joked.
The actress was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role on The Good Fight at Thursday's awards. Her co-star Christine Baranski was also nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role on the show.
Jumbo said that she has been dealing with the unique cravings associated with being pregnant.
"So we're working with a lot of bananas ... which I hated before and really love them now, and a lot of peanut butter, a lot of high-energy foods!" she said. "Donuts and pizza, too ... I'm craving for everything!"
The Good Fight is a spin-off of the highly acclaimed The Good Wife, which ended in 2016. The show resumes March 4 and Jumbo teased that her pregnancy could lead to yet another spin-off for the show.
"The Good Baby," she said. "That will be a spin-off."
