Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente began dating after the supermodel's split from Tom Brady.
Gisele Bündchen is putting breakup rumors to rest.
Speculation that Bündchen and her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, broke up started from a magazine after they hadn't been pictured together in months. On Saturday, Bündchen, 43, and Valente proved the rumors wrong when they put on a loved-up display as they walked her dog in Surfside, Florida.
In the images captured from the cozy stroll, the casually dressed supermodel and her beau in blue show that they are still firmly an item even though they have been staying low key. The duo walks side-by-side and can't seem to keep their hands off each other. In one picture, Bündchen wraps her arm around Valente's shoulder as he holds his hand around her waist while they hug.
A source told ET in February that Bündchen and Valente -- who was her longtime jujitsu instructor -- had transitioned from friends to romantic partners. The source explained that their relationship evolved gradually since they initially connected as friends.
"Gisele and Joaquim started as friends, but things have progressed between them and they have been seeing each other," the source said.
The pair's bond deepened as Valente provided support to Bündchen during her post-divorce phase following her split from football legend Tom Brady in October 2022. She was married to the NFL pro for 13 years and denies cheating on Brady with Valente.
"Gisele trusts Joaquim because they had a solid foundation before things turned romantic," the source added. "He has been there for her as she transitions through this new phase of life post-divorce and it’s been a really nice change for her."
The source highlighted their shared interests in wellness, stating, "They connect on a deep level and are both into wellness, being active, and traveling. They have a lot of fun together."
Bündchen shares two children with Brady, 14-year-old son Benjamin and 11-year-old daughter Vivian, while Brady also has a 16-year-old son, Jack, from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.
On Sunday, Brady was spotted spending Father's Day with his son at the Championship Game.
He also shared a loving post on Instagram with his three kids to commemorate the day.
"Happy Fathers Day to my HERO, and the best role model I could have ever asked for. And THANK YOU, to these kids for giving me the gift of being a father, a joy that I could have never imagined until you came into my life. I hope that I can give you all that my dad gave me… unconditional love and support ❤️❤️❤️," Brady captioned the carousel of family photos.
Just last week, the seven-time Super Bowl champion shared a sweet message for his children when he was inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame, sharing, "Your dad loves you more than anything in this world." He also spoke to ET on Wednesday about fatherhood.
"There's no greater joy for me than being in these kids' lives and just watching them grow up and mature," Brady told ET. "And I love when they're with me and I love when they're around the things that I'm doing. These kids make every day of my life better."
Rumors that Bündchen and Valente split also came from reported stress from Brady's Netflix roast, as her relationship was the butt of several jokes.
Bündchen was left offended by the jokes, a source told ET in May. But luckily, she had her boyfriend by her side at the time to support her.
"Joaquim has been there for Gisele and they have a nice, supportive relationship. Gisele is still taking things one day at a time and is protective of herself and her well-being, and more importantly, her kids' well-being," the source said. "She is trying to be thoughtful when navigating next steps and is continuing to appreciate the loving relationship in front of her."
The source explained to ET that Brady is "doing his best" to co-parent with "offended" Bündchen after The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady special.
"Gisele was definitely offended by some of the comments at Tom’s roast," the source said. "He feels bad that she was hurt and is doing his best to be a good co-parent and lift their kids up. Tom knows it might take some time for everyone to move on, but also recognizes that the remarks weren't in his control and he wasn't happy with some of them, too."
