On Saturday, executive producer Chuck Lorre confirmed that the show will welcome several 'Young Sheldon' stars. Here's who to expect.

Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage will be a family show -- in more ways than one!

On Saturday, the cast and crew of the Young Sheldon spinoff spoke at a Television Critics Association event and confirmed that Zoe Perry, Annie Potts and Raegan Revord will all appear in the premiere season of the highly-anticipated CBS series

The show -- which sees Montana Jordan as Sheldon Cooper's older brother, Georgie Cooper, and Emily Osment as Mandy McAllister, Georgie's wife -- follows the young couple as they experience the ups and downs of marriage and parenthood in a dichotomy-driven comedy. The show also stars Rachel Bay Jones and Will Sasso as Mandy's parents, Audrey and Will, who are skeptical about her relationship with Georgie.

In Young Sheldon -- a prequel spinoff of CBS' The Big Bang Theory -- Perry and Potts play Georgie's mother and grandmother, respectively, while Revord plays Georgie's younger sister, Missy Cooper.

Executive producers Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro and Steve Holland kept tight-lipped on Saturday when it comes to how and when the trio of integral ladies in Georgie's life will appear in the show, but shared that each will make a big splash in season 1.

Young Sheldon, which ran on CBS for seven seasons, came to an end in May. The show also starred Iain Armitage as the titular character --the younger version of Jim Parsons' lovable theoretical physicist -- as well as Lance Barber as George Cooper Sr. While it's unlikely that Barber, whose character tragically passed away at the end of Young Sheldon -- will cameo in the new show, Lorre told ET that he is leaving the door open for Armitage to appear again as boy-genius.

"I hope so," Lorre said Saturday when asked if Armitage will make an appearance. "We're going slowly on this -- there's a learning curve for us. But, you know, Georgie's mother, sister and grandmother are very much part of this world."

In May, ET spoke with Revord about whether or not she would appear in the spinoff and shared slight hesitation but ultimate love for her character and her nearly decade-long role with the show.

"I love playing Missy for the past seven years, but I also want to go on and do other things as well," Revord shared at the time. "So it's complicated... [but] I want to do a drama at some point."

In spite of that, Revord did offer praise for her co-stars, Osment and Jodan, and said that she would be tuning in to watch Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, regardless of her role (or lack of) in the show.

"I'm so happy for Montana and Emily! They deserve it, above and beyond," Revord continued. "They're so talented and they're some of my favorite people ever, and I'm so excited to see where the show goes."

It's no surprise that Lorre and the producers would find it easy to bring back the cast members as all signs have pointed to the crew being as tight off-screen as they are on. After the Young Sheldon finale aired in May, Potts took to her Instagram to reveal that the Cooper family gathered at her house to watch the last episode together

In June, ET spoke with Osment at the Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas where they shared the very little information that they had on the scripts and the content that the show will cover in its first season.

"I actually have not read anything yet but we're starting fairly soon and we're still in the process of pre-production," Osment said. "I assume it starts right where we left off, so there isn't too big of a gap for our viewers in terms of, like, story or missing us too much. We just pick right up where we were."

For Osment, the show is also a return to her live studio audience roots. The actress first broke out in her role as Lilly Truscott in Disney Channel's Hannah Montana alongside Miley Cyrus. She also live taped with her hit Freeform (formerly ABC Family) show, Young & Hungry

"Because of COVID I haven't done live audience in a long time," she said. "And so now, you know, four years later, we're actually able to open it up so we can have a live audience, which is tremendous, and allows us to have people right there in front of us, so we get to, you know, react off of, which is always my favorite part. It feels like live theater and it's fun. Every Tuesday night it's like throwing a party."

Making it even more fun? Jordan has never acted in front of an audience. His co-star told ET that she isn't worried in the slightest about it.

"I'm very excited to see how he grabs onto that," she shared.

Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage premieres Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
