From traditional white dresses to quirky spins that show off unique personalities, these beautiful brides pulled out all the stops on their big days. Scroll through the gallery to see some of the most stunning gowns that have been worn to recent star nuptials.
Emma Slater
Slater and her fellow Dancing With the Stars beau, Sasha Farber, wed on March 25, with the 29-year-old English dancer looking lovely in her gown that featured a long-sleeved lace bodice and mermaid cut.
Maren Morris
The "My Church" singer wore white, but her wedding dress was unconventional in other ways! Morris wed Ryan Hurd on March 24 wearing a custom design by Nashville-based Cavanagh Baker that paid homage to her mom's vintage wedding dress, modernized with a large keyhole surrounded by floral appliques, crystal straps handmade in India, embroidered lace from Spain, a gem-encrusted belt and a long detachable train sitting atop 20 layers of tulle. She continued the hippie-meets-rocker vibes with glittery ankle-strap platform pumps and braids in her hair.
Kelsea Ballerini
To tie the knot to her Australian beau, Morgan Evans, in December 2017, Ballerini slipped into a MUSE by Berta dress with a lace bodice, plunging neckline and full skirt with two high slits that was infused with hints of cream and blush hues.
Serena Williams
The 36-year-old tennis pro and Alexis Ohanian tied the knot in a gorgeous Beauty and the Beast-themed wedding in New Orleans on Nov. 16. Williams walked down the aisle in a voluminous princess-like Sarah Burton-designed Alexander McQueen strapless gown with a sheer cape.
Kate Upton
The 25-year-old model waltzed down the aisle with Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander on Nov. 4 in the most amazing wedding gown. Upton sparkled in a one-of-a-kind white lace, long-sleeve Valentino gown with buttons up the back. Her hair was pulled back on the side with loose curls falling around her face.
“For my ceremony dress, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the fantastic team at Valentino,” she told Vogue about her ensemble. “They are the best at creating delicate, beautiful lace and details, and their Italian heritage kept the fashion and feel authentic to our venue. The design process was extremely collaborative, so I was able to really include my personal style and create my dream dress.”
Kacey Musgraves
When it comes to the perfect mix of sexy and elegant, the "Follow Your Arrow" singer donned the ultimate look for her Oct. 14 wedding to musician Ruston Kelly. Musgraves wowed in a long-sleeve Berta white lace gown from the designer's fall/winter 2017 collection. The bohemian frock featured a plunging neckline, an open back, delicate embroidery with floral applique and a long train with lace hemline.
Ronda Rousey
The MMA fighter was a vision at her Aug. 19 wedding to boyfriend Travis Browne. The blonde stunner showed some skin in a plunging, body-hugging, hand-beaded mermaid "Harper" dress by Galia Lahav. Made with scalloped motifs and beaded straps, the backless gown had a 1920s flapperesque look to it that fit perfectly for Rousey's Hawaiian celebration.
Tatyana Ali
With the help of bridal stylist Monique Peters, Ali showed off her baby bump at her July 16 wedding to Dr. Vaughn Rasberry in a form-fitting white gown, dripping in Dena Kemp diamonds and flashing a megawatt smile as her father walked her down the aisle. After the ceremony, dad-to-be Rasberry adorably cradled his new wife's belly.
Julianne Hough
The blonde beauty said "I do" to Brooks Laich in Idaho on July 8, stunning in a classic strapless Marchesa design by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, which featured over 20 yards of silk radzimir and 37 buttons down the back. She also glammed up the white dress with a long tiered tulle veil.
Peta Murgatroyd
The Dancing With the Stars pro's wedding was a fairy tale come true, complete with not one but two spectacular custom Karen Sabag Couture dresses for her special day. For her July 8 wedding to Maks Chmerkovskiy, the 31-year-old dancer walked down the aisle in a crystal bodice ballgown featuring off-the-shoulder sleeves, voluminous fabric in an ivory tone, layers of pleats and a long veil.
Emmy Rossum
May 28 was an unforgettable date for the Shameless star and director Sam Esmail. Rossum walked down the aisle in a custom-made Carolina Herrera dress with a dramatic train. "As soon as I got engaged, I immediately knew that I wanted Mrs. Herrera to make my wedding dress," Rossum told Vogue, adding that she didn’t have a specific idea of what she wanted. The final creation included 212 tiny buttons all down the back, off-the-shoulder sleeves with beading and sequins, an embroidered cinched waist and a gorgeous veil with a lace hemline.
Miranda Kerr
The 34-year-old supermodel channeled Grace Kelly's famous 1956 wedding dress to marry Prince Rainier of Monaco for her May 27 nuptials to Evan Spiegel. Kerr's long-sleeve satin Dior Haute Couture gown was designed by the maison's artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri and features a high neck, full skirt with lilies of the valley applique.
Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli
Without outshining one another, both brides exuded elegance and sophistication in their Christian Siriano creations for their March 25 wedding. Wiley donned a two-piece silk faille, off-the-shoulder top with a full crisp skirt and silver Sophia Webster sandals, while Morelli rocked a silk-crepe jumpsuit with a crystal beaded collar and cape and Sophia Webster white satin pumps. Pure perfection!
