One of Meghan's first appearances was at the DPA pre-Emmy Gift Lounge at Beverly Hills' Peninsula Hotel, where she rocked a black romper with beige sandals, a Louis Vuitton handbag and sunglasses tucked into the ensemble's neckline.

Someone loves her rompers! One year later, the California girl was pretty in pink -- and rocking the same purse! --- while picking up goodies at the Some Kind-a Gorgeous Style and Beauty Lounge at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont.

Peplum was all the rage in 2011, and Markle looked pretty fabulous rocking the trend on her sleeveless LBD at the Anti-Defamation League Entertainment Industry Awards dinner in Beverly Hills.

The Suits star rocked a subtly sexy look -- a navy, lacy mini -- to the USA Network's and The Moth's Storytelling Tour for A More Perfect Union: Stories of Prejudice and Power at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. She paired the three-quarter-sleeved dress with nude pumps and simple silver jewelry.

Sparkle Markle! Meghan let her sequined off-the-shoulder dress do all the talking at USA Network and Mr. Porter.com's A Suits Story event in New York City by pulling her hair back into a sleek ponytail. She accessorized with pointy glitter pumps, an armful of chunky bangles and a gold clutch.

Satin doll! She showed off her curves in a knee-length, cranberry-hued tank dress at the Rising Stars: 2012 Producers Ball in Toronto, pairing the simple frock with an oversized black clutch and silky heels.

Another big trend in the early 2010s? Ruching, which Meghan rocked on her rust-colored, drapey frock at the GQ Men of the Year Party at Chateau Marmont.

It may have been winter, but Meghan looked ready for warmer months in a strapless, tie-dye maxi dress at Entertainment Weekly's Pre-SAG Party at Chateau Marmont. Upping the summer feelings, she wore her hair in pin-straight locks and accessorized with a silver cuff, chunky rings and a gold box clutch.

The Suits star showed off her long legs in a white-and-black diamond-printed mini at the USA Network 2013 Upfront Event at New York City's Pier 36. She paired the frock with a chunky cuff and black patent platform pumps, finishing off her look with a pinky-beige blush and matching shiny lips.

The future royal showed just a hint of tummy in a pretty black cap-sleeve crop top and matching high-waisted flippy skirt, both with subtle scallop-hemmed detailing, and cut-out sandals as she posed backstage at the Herve Leger by Max Azria fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City.

Markle styled her stunning, sparkly turquoise-and-silver dress with black pumps, teardrop earrings and a pretty updo for the ELLE Women in Television Celebration in West Hollywood.

A girl's gotta stay warm! The Los Angeles native topped a silky pastel pink top and denim miniskirt with an off-white fur coat, all by Miu Miu, for the fashion house's Women's Tales "Spark & Light" screening in New York City. She accessorized with a light pink clutch and embellished blue-green heels and wore her hair in a neatly styled side braid. 

It's only appropriate that a woman who starred on Suits knows how to dress business casual! For an exclusive preview of the Marchesa Voyage for ShopStyle collection in New York City, Meghan paired a smart slate blue top with white piping with white linen wide-leg pants, an oversized envelope clutch and black patent box-heel pumps.

Meghan gave off major princess vibes while attending the Step It Up for Gender Equality Celebration in New York City, looking ethereal in a V-neck top, black skirt and strappy heels. Her pulled-back 'do with a middle part was the perfect finishing touch!

Meghan's girlie sensibilities shined through when she paired a pink tube top that featured a black bow, floral appliques and a tulle overlay with black flared trousers and her beloved pointy patent heels for the 2015 NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Upfronts in New York City.

The actress looked comfy yet polished in this all-white ensemble, which included a strapless bra, sheer short-sleeved sweater and extreme wide-leg pants, at NBC's 2015 New York Summer Press Day in NYC. Even her hair felt summery, as she wore it in loose, slightly wet-looking waves.

Give her the gold for this A+look! At the 12th annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in in New York City, the humanitarian donned a metallic Misha Nonoo mini dress with a plunging neckline. She styled the shimmering piece with black heels and a silver clutch.

The former lifestyle blogger looked lovely in the perfect spring dress, a baby blue crocheted tank dress with a black belt that cinched in her already tiny waist. She wore her hair in loose waves with a deep-side part and opted for white d'orsay heels to complete the look.

Meghan made at a preppy-meets-edgy statement at the opening of a Sephora store in Toronto, Canada in a monochromatic look that included a high-waisted black flare skirt with a basic black top and leather jacket with gold hardware. If the shoes look familiar, your eyes aren't fooling you -- they appear to be a similar pair to the Aquazzura crisscross nude pumps she wore during her engagement photocall!

Prince Harry and Meghan sat down for an official interview the same day they publicly announced their engagement in late November. The two looked totally in love when they stepped out for the first time as an engaged couple at the Sunken Gardens at Kensington Palace in London, with the former actress looking regal in a belted white wool coat from Canadian designer Line the Label, which retails for approximately $626. She paired the warm coat with a $682 hunter green P.A.R.O.S.H. sheath dress and $695 Aquazzura Matilde Pump 105 shoes.

Harry and Meghan were all smiles during their first public event as an engaged couple! Just four days after Kensington Palace formally announced the exciting news, the lovebirds stepped out for the Terrence Higgins Trust World AIDS Day charity fair in Nottingham, England. Meghan donned a look that was quite similar to Kate Middleton's repertoire: a double-breasted Elodie coat by Canadian designer Mackage with a tan skirt and black boots. Like the Duchess of Cambridge, Markle's jacket was a recycled piece -- she was first spotted wearing the coat, which retails for $790, in December 2016 at the Toronto airport.

Now that she's on her way to becoming a royal, Meghan has totally stepped up her fashion game -- and is giving us very Kate Middleton vibes! For a visit to Birmingham, England, the brunette beauty topped a white turtleneck and cropped black cigarette pants with a navy blue J. Crew coat with white accents. She accessorized with a black handbag and matching heels.

Kicking off the first day of her royal Australia tour with Prince Harry in Sydney, Meghan made her first appearance following the news of her pregnancy in a stunning white Karen Gee dress and Stuart Weitzman pumps.

The pregnant royal wasn't afraid of a little color! During a visit to Birkenhead, England, with her husband, the Duchess of Sussex rocked the bold color combination of red and purple via a Sentaler wrap coat, Babaton dress and Stuart Weitzman pumps. 

The new mom stepped out for her first royal event since giving birth to her and Prince Harry's first child together, baby Archie, in May. Riding the carriage during the annual Trooping the Colour parade, the new mom glowed ini a navy Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy dress and overcoat. She accessorized the ensemble with a matching Noel Stewart hat, navy clutch and stud earrings. 

Just one month later, the Duchess of Sussex's first post-baby red carpet appearance came at the Lion King premiere in London. The 37-year-old royal looked fantastic, sporting a Jason Wu black dress with a semi-sheer top and sleeves. Wearing minimal makeup, Meghan kept her look rather simple, pulling her hair back into a bun and wearing a nude lip. She accessorized with a Gucci black stain clutch and black pumps by Aquazzura. By her side was husband Prince Harry, who looked sharp in a black tuxedo.



Meghan had slowly been venturing out to public events in the days leading up to the movie premiere, making a surprise appearance at Wimbledon to cheer on her good friend, Serena Williams and bringing Archie to the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day at Billingbear Polo Club in Berkshire.
