Sometimes you just need to switch up your look! That's exactly what these trendsetting celebs have done all year long, whether they've lopped off their locks, slipped on a wig or totally transformed their look with a brand new hue. Cut to the biggest hair swaps of the year...
Pink
The "Love Me Anyway" songstress took to Instagram on Dec. 5 to share a snapshot of her remarkably short new look. In the pic, Pink holds her lopped-off locks in her hands while flaunting her freshly-styled, buzzed look for the camera. "Letting Go," she captioned the evocative photo. The new style came less than a month after ET spoke with the songstress on the carpet at the CMA Awards in Nashville, where she revealed that she's planning on stepping back from making music in the coming year.
Justin Bieber
Gone were Bieber's usually dirty blonde locks -- which he sported at his and Hailey's second wedding ceremony in September -- when he stepped out with bubblegum pink hair on Nov. 24. The "Sorry" singer matched his outfit to his new 'do, sporting pink sweatpants in a slightly darker hue than his hair as he played basketball with some friends in Beverly Hills, California. An oversized white T-shirt and matching white sneakers completed his look.
Bella Hadid
After spending a few months with a hue closer to her natural dirty blonde roots, Hadid returned to the dark side, debuting a dark chocolate brown bob during a Vogue Fashion Festival photocall in Paris on Nov. 15.
Jana Kramer
It may be fall, but the "Circles" singer went against the grain with her lighter hair color. "No filter. Just new hair. And I figure everyone goes darker in the fall so why not go lighter?!? Hair cred @leahhofff," Kramer shared on Nov. 3.
Halsey
The "Graveyard" singer is seeing red! "Been wanting to go this color since I was Poison Ivy last year. 1 year later and it’s time! ??," Halsey captioned a selfie of her new hue on Oct. 31.
Adam Levine
The Maroon 5 frontman's mostly-shaved head and faux hawk was on full display at a Los Angeles Lakers vs. Memphis Grizzlies game at L.A.'s Staples Center on Oct. 29.
Ashlee Simpson Ross
The Ashlee+Evan singer showed off her new rose-gold 'do at Nine Zero One's 10 Year Anniversary Decade Party at the Highlight Room in Hollywood on Oct. 20. She left the salon's soiree hand in hand with Paris Jackson, and other celebs in attendance included Nina Dobrev, Francia Raisa and Glen Powell.
Noah Centineo
The moppy-haired actor's head must feel a whole lot lighter! The internet's boyfriend has a fresh new buzz cut that got fans, well, buzzing when he shared his new look on his Instagram Story on Oct. 15. It's not his only updated look as of late -- in September, he dyed his facial hair blond, which also caused an online uproar.
Dua Lipa
One day after debuting her new lighter locks -- and teasing a "new era" of music! -- on Instagram, the GRAMMY winner gave us a better look at her new hue while out with boyfriend Anwar Hadid on Oct. 2. As the pair wandered around New York City, it was clear that the "IDGAF" singer was actually blonde on top but still had a darker shade underneath.
Millie Bobby Brown
Eleven, is that you? The Stranger Things star seemed to channel her Netflix character's season one blonde wig look when her now-very light locks were revealed on Sept. 25. The YSV Salon in Miami, Florida, posted a pic of the 15-year-old actress' new 'do on Instagram, which wasn't even the only time Brown showed off a new look that week.
Selena Gomez
She had been sporting a bob for quite some time, but the "Wolves" singer added some length for fall, rocking her new, super long extensinons to a party for choreographer Charm La'Donna in Hollywood on Sept. 25.
Kendall Jenner
One of the last of the KarJenners to hit the bleach even briefly, the newly blonde model walked the Burberry runway during London Fashion Week on Sept. 16. She was back to brunette not long after her Europe work trip.
Britney Spears
The first major summer-to-fall transformation came from the pop princess, who debuted her brunette locks on the 'gram on Sept. 4. "Same faces, same dress, new hair !!!!! ?." Spears wrote. "Yes, my sister inspired me to go dark !!!!!!!" Her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, had gone from blonde to brown for a role in Steel Magnolias. The "Toxic" singer has gone to the dark side before, including when she was pregnant with son Jayden in 2006 and in 2013, shortly after her split from fiancé Jason Trawick.
Katherine Heigl
She's known as a blonde, but Heigl dyed her hair a dark chocolate brown for her new role on Netflix's Firefly Lane. "If you haven’t caught my stories this will be a shock for you..." she revealed on Sept. 3.
Charlize Theron
Theron's hairstylist, Adir Abergel, took to Instagram on Sept. 2 to show off his famous client's dramatic new bowl cut. "I always feel so blessed collaborating with this insanely talented human @charlizeafrica. I was inspired by early images of Linda Evangelista shot by @therealpeterlindbergh," he wrote. "It took some rad people to make this one come to life. #hairbyadir #charlizetheron #withvirtue."
Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi
She's had burgundy-accented hair for years, but the Jersey Shore Family Vacation star has lightened up her locks after baby No. 3! She showed off her new look on Sept. 2, which featured a deep brown base accented by mahogny highlights that faded into honey blonde tips. "WELP 10+ hours & it was so worth it! Thank you to my amazing stylists @bradleystylenyc & @lulustylesnyc for always bringing my hair makeovers to life? MAWMA is happy!" she shared on Instagram.

No stranger to switching up her hair color, the actress debuted a dark brown shade in July for the new season of American Horror Story.
Michelle Obama
The former first lady has typically worn her hair in slick, perfectly manicured loose waves, but she debuted a brand new look at the 2019 ESSENCE Festival: a head full of tight, ombre curls.
Alison Brie
"And just like that...baby was brunette again. ?," the GLOW star wrote on June 26 of her hazlenut-hued locks, which were joined by new bangs.
Zendaya
The Euphoria star briefly sported red locks, showing off the bold hue while promoting Spider-Man: Far From Home in London on June 17. The look was a semi-permanent nod to her character, Mary Jane Watson, who is a redhead in the Spider-Man comic books.
Ciara
After years of rocking long, dark curly or wavy locks, the "Thinkin Bout You" singer turned up at the 23rd Annual ACE Awards in New York City with an unexpected 'do: a well-coiffed pixie cut! It was a short-lived look, however, as Ciara regularly sported ponytails and bobs throughout the rest of the summer.

We almost didn't recognize the Pretty Little Liars alum when she turned up at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 14 with a cropped, bleach blonde 'do, a huge departure from her normal dark brown hue and long locks.
Emma Stone
Do brunettes have more fun? Just two weeks after rocking her signature red locks at the 2019 Golden Globes, The Favourite star -- who's actually a natural blonde -- put much darker strands on display at the 30th Annual Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills on Jan. 19.
Chris Messina
The Mindy Project star had fans doing a double take when he hit the 2019 Golden Globes red carpet on Jan. 6 rocking a platinum blond hairstyle. It appears the age-defying look is for one of the actor's roles. "Golden Globes ready. New hair ready to play the role of #victorzsasz in the new Harley Quinn movie #BirdsOfPrey," he shared on Instagram.
