Get ready for T-shirt time, duck phones, and battling in clubs because the Jersey Shore cast is back! Have they finally grown up or just grown messier? Let's take a look at the cast -- then and now.
'Jersey Shore'
When MTV's Jersey Shore debuted in late 2009, it instantly won a place in pop culture and in our hearts. Though the show sometimes courted controversy, America loved the GTL life and fist-pumping partying of JWoww, Snooki, The Situation, Pauly D, Vinny, Sammi, and the crew. The show ran for six seasons until 2012, through brawls, arrests, and hookups in the smush room. Now, they're at it again for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. The cast is older -- but are they wiser? Click through to see how things have changed for the gang since the show first graced our screens.
Deena Cortese
Deena joined the Jersey Shore crew in the show's third season after Snooki suggested her in the wake of Angelina Pivarnick's dramatic departure. The self-described "blast in a glass" kept up with the guys and kept it real on the dance floor.
Deena kept a low profile in the years between Jersey Shore and Family Vacation. She still lives in New Jersey and got married in 2017 to Christopher Buckner. The couple has since welcomed two sons.
Angelina Pivarnick
Angelina was quickly ousted from season one, but returned in the next season, only to leave again after drama with practically everybody in the house. Oh yeah, and that fight with Vinny over her role in Sammi's letter drama.
Angelina made a surprise return on Family Vacation, promising that she's "not going anywhere" this time. The 37-year-old filed for divorce from Chris Larangeira in 2021 and is now engaged to Vinny Tortorella.
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino
Formerly an underwear model and fitness store manager, The Situation was 27 by the time he hit the Seaside Heights house for Jersey Shore, where he coined -- and embodied -- GTL. Known as much for his abs as his head-first run into a wall in Italy, The Situation was pretty much as Jersey Shore as it gets.
The Situation is married to Lauren Sorrentino since 2018 and they have two children, a son born in 2021 and a daughter born in 2023. The 41-year-old also serves as director of outreach at a New Jersey rehab facility, and speaks regularly about his own past struggles and sobriety.
Vinny Guadagnino
At 21 years old, the Staten Island native was a self-confessed mama's boy who won fans over for his good-natured personality. He had a hot romance with Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi for a minute, but ultimately managed to avoid most of the drama that plagued his other roommates.
In 2017, Vinny and his mom, Paola, briefly starred in their own Cooking Channel show, Vinny & Ma Eat America. Now 35, Vinny has performed multiple times for Chippendales, appeared in his and Pauly's dating game show spin-off, Double Shot at Love, and competed The Masked Dancer and Dancing WIth the Stars.
Sammi "Sammi Sweatheart" Giancola
Born and bred in New Jersey, then 22-year-old Sammi's debut on Jersey Shore marked the start of a tumultuous relationship with castmate Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. The two were on-again, off-again during the series, and the relationship spawned more drama than anyone wants to remember.
Sammi eventually ended her relationship with Ronnie for good and is now dating Justin May. The 36-year-old finally joined her Shore castmates on Family Vacation in 2023.
Jenni "JWOWW" Farley
A 23-year-old graphic designer before the show, JWoww quickly made waves on Jersey Shore. She was a big talker with a sweet side, who famously compared herself to a praying mantis: "After I have sex with a guy, I will rip their heads off." Other highlights included her notorious Pauly D hookup and her hair-pulling throwdown with Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola.
JWoww divorced Roger Mathews in 2019 and the couple have two kids together, daughter Meilani and son Greyson. After four successful seasons of her and Snooki's spinoff series, Snooki & Jwoww, the 37-year-old hosted her own show on TLC, Young Americans, and launched a lifestyle website, Miss Domesticated. Jenni has been engaged to fiancé Zack Carpinello since 2021.
Paul 'DJ Pauly D' DelVecchio
Aspiring DJ Paul 'Pauly D' DelVecchio was 29 in 2009 when Jersey Shore premiered, and his fun and relatable style on and off the dance floor quickly won him fans. Born and raised in Rhode Island, his popularity soared after the show's debut. He was nominated three years in a row, and won twice, for Teen Choice Male Reality Star of the Year and opened for Britney Spears during her Femme Fatale tour in 2011.
One of the most successful of the Shore alumnis, Pauly D is now based in Las Vegas where he DJs. He became a dad in 2013.
Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi
Born in Chile, but adopted by Italian-American parents in New York, Snooki was an instant fan favorite. Snooki, then 22 years old, was as lovable as she was boisterous. She was ride or die for her friends and genuinely cared about her roomies -- which made America care about her. She had her share of drama, too, including the epic anonymous letter she and JWoww used to out Ronnie's cheating (again) to Sammi.
The 35-year-old has been married to her longtime love,Jionni LaValle, since 2014. On top of being a mom of three, Snooki has appeared on every season of Family Vacation and has three locations of her Snooki Shop.
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro
Ronnie brought capital-D drama and dysfunction with him from The Bronx to Seaside Heights. Just 24 years old in Jersey Shore's first season, he quickly got involved with Sammi in a rocky relationship that often turned ugly and toxic.
After appearing on E!'s Famously Single, Ronnie had a brief relationship with Khloe Kardashian bestie Malika Haqq. He laster had a turbulent relationship with ex Jen Harley, with whom he welcomed daughter Ariana.
