Cast of 'Charmed': Then and Now

Charmed allowed the former Who’s the Boss star a chance to officially shed her skin as a child actress. The native New Yorker played Phoebe Halliwell, the rebellious younger sister with psychic abilities.

Milano has appeared in My Name is Earl, Romantically Challenged and Mistresses, along with several other movies and shows. In the last year, Milano became a prominent advocate in the #MeToo movement founded by Tarana Burke. The mom of two currently stars in the Netflix series, Insatiable.

Combs portrayed Piper Halliwell, the middle sister with the power to freeze her surroundings, and cause spontaneous explosions with her mind. Piper became the oldest of the Halliwell sisters, after Prue (Shannen Doherty) died at the end season three. 

After Charmed took a bow, Combs moved on to Pretty Little Liars, which ended in 2017. The 44-year-old actress played Ella Montgomery, the mother of Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale), one of the teen drama's central characters.

Charmed marked Doherty’s return as a main character in a series after her departure from Beverly Hills, 90210 in 1994. Doherty’s Charmed character, Prue Halliwell, was the eldest Halliwell sister and possessed the power of telekinesis.

Doherty went on to land several T.V. movies but her career slowed down in 2015, following a breast cancer diagnosis. In 2017, Doherty announced that she was in remission.

McGowan joined Charmed in season four as Paige Matthews, the Halliwells' teleporting half-sister. She remained on the series until it ended in 2006. 

After Charmed, McGowan earned credits as a director, producer and actress appearing in The Black Dahlia, Nip/Tuck and several other film and television projects. Last year, McGowan joined dozens of actresses in sharing #MeToo stories of sexual assault and misconduct. McGowan's E! documentary series Citizen Rose debuted earlier in the year.
