She's literally the opposite of me," Winokur said of Barb, though she admits that she's "old school" and loved Winona Rider in the series. "First of all, the wig was awesome and the costume. I even wear the big blue jacket that's too tight and big and it's ridiculous and I'm dying down there in the space because it's so hot. It's so fun."
As for her co-stars, they're pretty happy to have the New York native return to the Rockwell. Garrett Clayton, who plays Steve and Justin in UMPO and worked with Winokur in Hairspray Live! told ET, "She's super professional, shows up and has a great sense of humor. She's such a light and hilarious and has a huge heart. I could go on about how much I love her."
