While the world has changed quote a bit over the past two years, Hollywood remains a tough place to form lasting relationships. Here’s a look at all the celebrity couples that have called it quits in 2022. Read it and literally weep.
Nia Long and Ime Udoka
After months of speculation regarding their relationship, ET confirmed in December that the actress and NBA coach called it quits. The news comes after Udoka allegedly had an affair with a female co-worker within the Boston Celtics organization, and was suspended as head coach of the professional basketball team.
Long began dating Udoka in 2009 and the couple got engaged in 2015. They share a 10-year-old son, Kez, as well as Long's 21-year-old son, Massai, from a previous relationship.
Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker
A source told ET that the NBA player and model broke up again in October. As for the reason for their split, the source said, "They are both still young and extremely busy in their careers. It was becoming difficult for them to prioritize their relationship with their schedules."
Dixie D'Amelio and Noah Beck
In November, it was confirmed that the TikTok power couple, who were first romantically linked in September 2020, broke up. Beck's publicist broke the news to The New York Times, stating, "We can confirm that the pair are no longer together."
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson
In August, the comedian and reality star split after nine months together.
"Pete and Kim broke up. The distance has been hard and things were starting to fizzle out," a source told ET at the time. "Pete being away for so long was hard for them. Kim is doing well and she knows she has a lot going on. Pete has been super busy as well."
Natasha Lyonne and Fred Armisen
The actress and the Saturday Night Live alum have decided to call it quits. Lyonne confirmed the split to The Hollywood Reporter on April 15, while discussing the highly anticipated return of her Netflix series, Russian Doll. Their relationship was brought up when the 43-year-old New York native was asked if she's currently living in Los Angeles. "I'm not. I had been there living with Fred [Armisen] and during COVID," Lyonne revealed. "I honestly think we broke up because I wanted a swimming pool... We love each other just about as much as two people can love each other and we're still talking all the time, but Freddy doesn't like a swimming pool. It might seem like a mundane reason for a breakup, but during that pandemic, you've got to get your laps -- I'm like Burt Lancaster in The Swimmer."
Ali Wong and Justin Hakuta
A rep for the comedian confirmed the news on April 12 that the couple are divorcing after eight years of marriage. The parents share two daughters, Mari, 6, and Nikki, 4. "The split between Ali and her husband is amicable," a source told ET. "The two will continue to co-parent their two children lovingly." Wong and Hakuta, both 39, met at a friend's wedding reception in 2010, when Hakuta was a student at Harvard Business School, People, who was first to publish the news of the pair's split, reported. They tied the knot four years later.

In the complaint for divorce, it was noted Tish and Billy Ray have not lived together since February 2020. Tish cited irreconcilable differences as the grounds for their divorce and is asking that the court equitably divide and distribute their marital assets and award her separate property. A rep shared a joint statement from the pair, that read, "It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways - not with sadness, but with love in our hearts"

The Star Trek actor and the Star Trek: Discovery actress have called it quits. A source told ET on Mar. 1 that Pine and Wallis "have broken up and haven't been together for a few months." The pair had kept their relationship almost entirely out of the public eye. They were first romantically linked in 2018, and in July of that year, they confirmed the dating rumors when they rocked color-matching ensembles and walked hand in hand while strolling through London, where Pine was filming Wonder Woman 1984. Throughout their time together, however, the two never made their romance red carpet official, and never confirmed their relationship on Instagram or social media. Pine, however, doesn't have an Instagram account and stays largely off social media, and Wallis seems to keep her online presence directed toward professional projects.
Aaron Carter and Melanie Martin
The musician and his former fiancée are going their separate ways, once again. While the split seemed like a surprise to many, a source told ET that the couple have been "having issues for a while." Burke and Lawrence first met in 2006 when the 42-year-old actor's brother, Joey Lawrence, appeared on DWTS. They started dating in 2007 and broke up in 2008 before reuniting in 2017. The source added that Rodgers and Woodley "have no animosity toward one another." Rodgers and Woodley started dating around July 2020. It wasn't until Woodley appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in February 2021 when she confirmed her engagement to Rodgers.
Kanye West and Julia Fox
The Donda artist and the Uncut Gems actress have parted ways. ET confirmed through Fox's rep, on Feb. 14, that the pair "remain good friends and collaborators, but they are no longer together." West and Fox first met in Miami during a New Year's Eve party. They were next photographed in New York City, where they enjoyed a date night, seeing a production of Slave Play and having dinner at Carbone. Shortly thereafter, PDA pics of the pair were released in Interview magazine. In the accompanying interview, Fox said she and West had an "instant connection." They then took their romance to Los Angeles, Paris and Miami, before circling back to New York, where they celebrated Fox's 32nd birthday together. West's romance with Fox came on the heels of his split from Kim Kardashian, and their split coincided with West's increasingly frequent social media rants targeting Pete Davidson, whom Kardashian is dating. The pair tied the knot in 2019.

Kotb announced the news during an episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna on Jan. 31. "People have written in and asked why I wasn't wearing my engagement ring. Joel and I have had, we've had a lot of prayerful and really meaningful conversations over the holidays, and we decided that we're better as friends and parents than we are as an engaged couple," Kotb shared. "We decided that we are going to start this New Year and begin it on our new path, as loving parents to our adorable, delightful children and as friends… They say that sometimes relationships are meant to be there for a reason or a season or for a lifetime, and I feel like ours was meant to be there for a season."
