In one way, 2020 was a year like any other: Celebrity couples uncoupled. Even as the COVID-19 pandemic brought many changes to our modern world, Hollywood remained a tough place to form lasting relationships. The marriages of Kelly Clarkson, Kacey Musgraves and Armie Hammer crumbled. Karamo Brown, Gerard Butler and Jennifer Garner all saw long-term relationships end. Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart couldn’t make their on-and-off relationship come back on one more time. And, depending on your sports-metaphor preference, Aaron Rodgers and Danica Patrick either spiked the ball, or hit the brakes on their once-promising love. Here’s a look at the more than 50 and counting celebrity couples who broke up in 2020. Read it, and literally weep.
Lindsey Vonn and P.K. Subban
After three years of dating, the Olympic gold medal skier and the Canadian hockey pro announced they were ending their engagement in separate Instagram posts shared on Dec. 29. "Over the past 3 years PK and I have had some incredible times together. He is a kind, good man, and someone I respect a great deal," Vonn wrote, alongside a snapshot of her and her former fiance. "However, after much consideration we have decided to move forward separately. We will always remain friends and love each other immensely. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this time." Subban shared a similar message, alongside an identical photo, writing in part, "Lindsey is one of the most kind and caring people I know. I will always treasure our time as a couple together and the many laughs we shared."
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis
A source confirmed to ET on Nov. 14 that the couple split and called off their engagement after nine years together.
"There was absolutely no drama or scandal, they just didn’t work as a couple anymore,” the source said. "If you’re looking for a juicy story, there just isn’t one."
“Of course their kids are their number one priority and at the forefront of any decision they make,” added the source, who explained that they are both 100% involved in their kids’ lives.
The Booksmart director and the Ted Lasso star began dating in November 2011, with Sudeikis proposing in late 2012. The actors are parents to two children; son Otis, 6, and daughter Daisy, 4.
Gleb Savchenko and Elena Samodanova
On Nov. 6, the Dancing With the Stars pro and his wife both announced that they were calling it quits after 14 years of marriage.
"It is with a heavy heart that I tell you my wife and I are parting ways after 14 years of marriage," Gleb told ET in an exclusive statement. "We still intend to co-parent our wonderful children together who we love so dearly, and we will strive to continue to be the best parents that we can to them."
Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon
The former reality star called it quits with Paul Bernon after two years together.
"Not everything works out and so many people have tried to define my life with our lives -- when are you getting engaged, when are you having a baby, when are you getting married? I just realized more in life with people being more open and honest with their lives and what they want that everything doesn't have to sort of end in a blue box and a bow," she said of their split while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October. "We've had a great, great relationship and I'm really, really happy. Not everything has to end badly, some things just don't continue and it's not negative, it's just life."
Christina and Ant Anstead
The Flip or Flop star announced on Sept. 8 that she and her second husband were going their separate ways. The breakup came less than two years after the pair tied the knot and just weeks after their son, Hudson, celebrated his first birthday.
Taraji P. Henson and Kelvin Hayden
In 2018, Henson took to Instagram to proclaim, hashtag-style, that “#sheisofficiallyoffthemarket.” The Empire star had accepted the proposal of Hayden, the retired NFL cornerback who won a Super Bowl ring with the Indianapolis Colts. The couple dated for about two years prior to their engagement and Henson sounded as if she was confident she’d won a forever love. "I'm happy in my personal life. Finally it has happened to me," the actress shared on Essence's Yes, Girl podcast.
But Henson and Hayden were not to be -- and they were not to be married. In October, Henson, 50, told Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club that she and the 37-year-old Hayden had split. "I tried,” Henson said on the show. “I said, 'let's do the therapy thing,' but if you're both not on the same page with that, then you feel like you're taking it on yourself and that's not a fair position for anybody to play in a relationship."
Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich
This relationship went from zero to 60 and back to zero in virtually nothing flat. In March, Lovato and Ehrich began dating. In May, the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer and the former daytime soap star (The Young and the Restless) went public with their relationship via a canoodling cameo in Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s music video for “Stuck With U.” In July, Lovato announced their engagement in an Instagram slideshow. "When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his 'little partner' - something that might’ve sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent," Lovato wrote. "To me it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner."
About two months later, Lovato, 28, and Ehrich, 29, were history. "It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers," a source told ET on Sept. 24. "They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together."
Karamo Brown and Ian Jordan
In 2018, Brown presented Jordan with a very special surprise birthday gift: an engagement ring. "You are the funniest man I know, the kindest man, my biggest cheerleader," the Queer Eye culture guru said to his longtime beau. "You made me feel like I could do anything." Jordan, an assistant director on Disney Channel’s Raven’s Home, accepted, and the couple, who at the time had been dating for eight years, seemed to be ready to walk down the aisle.
But then the COVID-19 pandemic happened, and the couple’s planned Summer 2020 wedding was postponed. Soon, there wouldn’t be any wedding to plan at all. On the Sept. 25 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Brown, 39, revealed that he and Jordan had split. “We're still good friends," he said. "It's very nice when it's like, 'I still love you and support you.' I want him to be happy, he wants me to be happy."
"But yeah, no more wedding, so if y'all got any friends...!" Brown jokingly added. "I'm lying, I'm not ready to move on that quick, I'm not ready."
Victoria Fuller and Chris Soules
The pair made headlines with their quarantine romance earlier this year, but now that Fuller has left Soules' Iowa home, she says they've split. "I am just living my best life. We went a separate direction, but I, like, respect him so much and I think he's an amazing man," Fuller shared on Nick Viall's Viall Files podcast. "I just think that right now, I’m in a different place than he is. I’m not moving to Iowa anytime soon, so I just want to focus on me. It’s been so much about other people this year, that I just really want to hone in on what I want to accomplish. Fuller, 26, and Soules, 38, seemingly confirmed their relationship as they stepped out for a lunch date in her hometown of Virginia Beach in July, months after fans noticed via social media posts that they were quarantining together in Iowa. The Bachelor alum said on Sept. 9 that she and Soules still talk "all the time" and left the door open for a possible reconciliation in the future. In a July interview with ET, Kelley Flanagan said that Fuller and Soules were introduced by Kelsey Weier, who also appeared on Peter Weber's Bachelor season and was crowned Miss Iowa USA in 2017.
Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen
Just over two years after they got engaged on her season of The Bachelorette, Kurfin revealed on her Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that she and Yrigoyen had gone their separate ways. "I know that there has been so much speculation and curiosity out there regarding where him and I stand... No one else has the right to confirm this unless it comes directly from the source, from the horse's mouth, which is, in this moment, me," she said, in part, before getting choked up as she shared the breakup news. "I don’t think it’s going to come as a shock to anyone, but Garrett and I have decided to end our engagement. And if you have followed us on Instagram the past couple of months, you'll have noticed that I spent a lot of time in Minnesota. I was with family and close friends, and he was out on the West Coast doing the same. We were just trying to take time and gain some clarity as to what was the next best step in our lives together or as individuals." Kufrin noted that the split decision was reached "after many conversations" and wasn't something "we just arrived at one night" or something that was "based solely off of one Instagram post or somebody else’s opinions or comments."
Gerard Butler and Morgan Brown
The movie star and his girlfriend broke up after more than six years together, multiple outlets reported in August.
Butler and Brown began dating in 2014. He is the ruggedly handsome star of 300 and the Fallen franchise. She is a real-estate developer and designer.
The two were an on-again, off-again couple who seemingly went off for good in 2016. But they were linked again in the press when PDA pics of them at the beach surfaced in 2017. In photos obtained by Just Jared in August 2020, the couple was spotted together in Venice Beach, California. But their masked smooch apparently did not seal them. People was the first outlet to report the news of their latest split.
Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone
The Bachelor in Paradise stars are moving forward with their divorce, Nielson revealed on Instagram six months after the pair announced their separation in February. "The past 8 months have not been easy... I’ve been torn between mourning a life that could’ve been… and determined to fight for the future that I know I deserve," she wrote. "With respect and support for one another, Chris and I have decided to move forward with filing for divorce. We are grateful for the events that brought us to find one another, as we have been great teachers on our journey of personal discovery and growth." Nielson, who appeared on Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor in 2018, and Randone, who competed for Becca Kufrin's heart on The Bachelorette the same year, both entered Bachelor in Paradise in 2018 as villains from their respective seasons. They got engaged on that season of BiP and wed in June 2019 in Mexico.
Scott Disick and Sofia Richie
Scott Disick and Sofia Richie are officially over. ET learned on Aug. 19 that the 37-year-old reality star and the 21-year-old model are no longer together. Disick is focused on his family and business ventures. Rumors of their split were first reported in May, which came shortly after Disick checked himself in and out of rehab. However, the two were spotted celebrating the Fourth of July together, making fans wonder if they were back on. Fans were also speculating that Disick had reignited his romance with Kourtney Kardashian, with whom he shares three children, sons Mason, 10, and Reign, 5, and daughter Penelope, 8. In June, eagle-eyed fans picked up on the fact that Kardashian was wearing her ex's flannel shirt in one of her Instagram posts, and in August, Disick left a flirty comment on Kardashian's bathing suit pic. The two split in July 2015 after nine years together.
Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson
A source close to the "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" singer and the Australian crooner told ET on Aug. 13 that the couple has split. The breakup happened weeks ago, but the reason for the split is not known. Fans believe Cyrus alluded to their break up in an Instagram post earlier this week, which she captioned, "Forever and ever no more. 🖤 The #MidnightSky is the road I’m taking.... head high up in the clouds." TMZ was first to report the breakup. Cyrus and Simpson began dating in October 2019, after her brief romance with Kaitlynn Carter. Last August, Cyrus split from then-husband Liam Hemsworth; their divorce was finalized in January.
Jennifer Garner and John Miller
The actress and the businessman have called it quits after almost two years of dating, according to multiple reports in early August. According to Us Weekly parted on "very amicable terms." News broke in October 2018 that Garner was dating Miller after finalizing her divorce from Ben Affleck. A source told ET at the time that the two had been dating for a few months after immediately hitting it off when they met through mutual friends. "He is warm, fun and incredibly smart," the source said of Miller, who's the CEO of Cali Group -- a tech company that owns Miso Robotics and a chain of 50 CaliBurger restaurants -- and has also been married previously. "He is a real success in the business world and has no interest in being in the entertainment industry." In January 2019, a source told ET that Garner was getting "serious" with Miller, who is himself a dad of two children from his previous marriage.
Travis Kelce and Kayla Nicole
On Aug. 5, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end called it quits with his model girlfriend of two years. In a since-deleted tweet screen-grabbed by TMZ, the NFL pro denied that infidelity was the cause of the split. Earlier, the outlet reported that Nicole had unfollowed Kelce on Instagram. Kelce previously starred in the E! reality show Catching Kelce, and though he didn't find love on TV, he did start dating Nicole shortly after.
The pair began dating in early 2017. Kelce was a third-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft; his younger brother, Jason Kelce, plays center for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn
The pair, who also make up the music duo The Soundflowers, have called it quits, according to multiple reports. The news came shortly after the premiere of the final episode of their six-part Facebook Watch docuseries, Unfiltered: Paris Jackson & Gabriel Glenn, which went live on Aug. 4. Jackson admitted during the final episode that she and Glenn had been "constantly butting heads" and that they "both have double stubborn energy." The 22-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson sparked a romantic relationship with Glenn in November 2018, several months after they first met, and said in the episode that she considers Glenn to be "one of many soulmates." As The Soundflowers, Jackson and Glenn have been performing music since 2018 and released their first EP, which was self-titled, in June. The split was reportedly amicable and they hold no ill will toward each other, sources told TMZ.
Tracy Morgan and Megan Wollover
Morgan and his wife are parting ways. The 51-year-old comedian announced the news in a statement to ET on July 29, saying, "Sadly, after nearly five years of marriage, Megan and I are filing for divorce. This is a challenging time for all involved, so I ask that you please respect our privacy." A spokesperson for the New Jersey Superior Court confirmed to ET that a divorce complaint was submitted for filing by the actor's attorney on the same day news broke. The spokesperson added that more likely than not, this case will be sealed. Morgan and Wollover, 33, got engaged in 2011 and wed in August 2015. They share a 7-year-old daughter, Maven Sonae. The pair's nuptials came almost 14 months after a Walmart tractor-trailer slammed into the 30 Rock star's limousine on the New Jersey Turnpike, killing comedian James McNair and severely injuring Morgan.
Vanessa Morgan and Michael Kopech
Kopech filed for divorce from the Riverdale star. According to multiple reports, the MLB pitcher filed documents on June 19 in Morris County, Texas. The reports came just days after Morgan announced she was expecting her first child, a baby boy. In the pregnancy announcement, Morgan made no mention of Kopech, 24, who was earlier confirmed to be taking time off from playing for the Chicago White Sox this season due to “personal reasons.” Morgan got engaged at the Grand Canyon in July 2019 and tied the knot at the Historic Walton House near Miami in early January. Morgan’s last post involving Kopech was a photo wishing him a happy birthday on May 1. According to her Instagram, the 28-year-old actress found out she was pregnant on May 20. Kopech previously dated Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak-Biermann's daughter, Brielle Biermann, until March 2018.
Meek Mill and Milan Harris
After welcoming their son in May, Meek announced on social media on July 26 that he and Harris had broken up. "Me and Milan decided to remain friends and build our child as separate parents ... we still have mad love for each other but we both came to a understanding," the 33-year-old rapper wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. "No fall out either just moving forward! Still love! This for protection so social media won't think we moving wrong." Meek announced the birth of their son on May 6, which is also his birthday. The rapper is also a father to two sons, Rihmeek and Murad, though this was Milan's first child. As for Harris, she announced she was pregnant in February but didn't mention Meek and asked for privacy.
Adrianne Palicki and Scott Grimes
Palicki and Grimes are going their separate ways again. According to court records obtained by ET, Palicki filed for divorce from Grimes a second time on July 16. She previously filed for divorce last July, two months after the pair wed, but filed a request for dismissal in November of that year. Palicki, 37, and Grimes, 49, also confirmed the news on social media. The two shared the same black-and-white photo of themselves together, captioning it, "So thankful for our time as a couple, even more thankful for our deep, everlasting friendship." The news came just over two months after the former couple celebrated their wedding anniversary while staying at home together amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Chandie and Joey Lawrence
The actor filed for divorce in Los Angeles on July 17, ET confirmed. The news came just two weeks after the couple celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. ET has reached out to Joey's rep for comment. Joey and Chandie met as teenagers, when a then-16-year-old Lawrence was on vacation at Disney World in Florida in 1993. The actor went on to marry Michelle Vella in 2002, but they split in 2005. Soon after, he tied the knot with Chandie at Disney World. The pair share two daughters, 14-year-old Charleston and 10-year-old Liberty.

The former NASCAR driver, 38, and the Green Bay Packers quarterback, 36, first met at the 2012 ESPYs, but they didn't start dating until 2018. "We're just two people who enjoy being around each other and love each other. We're really into each other," Rodgers told Artful Living in October 2018. "So there are going to be posts with each other because we enjoy each other's company a lot. We're really attracted to each other." Patrick's last public relationship was with race car driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr., whom she dated from 2012 to 2017. She was previously married to physical therapist Paul Edward Hospenthal from 2005 to 2013. As for Rodgers, he previously dated actress Olivia Munn from 2014 to 2017.
Joey Graceffa and Daniel Preda
The YouTubers announced their split on July 12 after six years together. In an emotional 14-minute video, the couple explained to fans that they had actually broken up three months earlier but have continued to live together in their home. Preda was moving into another place as they recorded the video. "This has been really, really, hard, and an uncomfortable decision," Preda said, as he and Graceffa wiped away tears. "It's obviously easier to stay," Graceffa added. "We're doing what's best for us, and we both know that this is what needs to be done, and what we both need to do to be happy. I don't think either of us have been happy for a while." Preda said their breakup wasn't a result of "what's happening in the world." "This has been coming for a bit, and the world just slowed down and said, 'Wake up, B**ch. You need to focus on yourself,'" he explained. Graceffa, 29, and Preda, 27, said they'll be splitting up their dogs but will take care of each others' animals when the other is out of town. They'll also maintain playdates for their dogs, and Graceffa will continue to have a close relationship with Preda's mom.
Darius Rucker and Beth Leonard
The country singer and his wife are going their separate ways after 20 years of marriage. Rucker and Leonard announced that they have decided to "consciously uncouple" in a joint statement released on the "If I Told You" singer's Instagram account on July 11. "Beth and I would like to share that after much reflection we have made the decision to consciously uncouple," the statement read. "We remain close friends and parenting partners and continue to be each other’s biggest cheerleaders. Our priority will always be our beautiful family. We have so much love in our hearts for each other and will continue to encourage growth and expansion in one other. Please be kind as we take on this journey, and we thank you for your love and support always." Rucker and Leonard met in 1998 when she was working for VH1 and Rucker was touring with Hootie & the Blowfish, and they wed in 2000. They are parents to a 19-year-old daughter, Daniella, and a 15-year-old son, Jack. Rucker is also father to 25-year-old daughter Carolyn, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Ann Phillips.
Rachel Bilson and Bill Hader
The Hart of Dixie star and the former Saturday Night Live comedian have reportedly split after less than a year of dating, according to multiple reports on July 10. A rep for Hader had no comment. The two first sparked romance rumors with a coffee date in Hader's hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, in December 2019. They then made their red carpet debut as a couple earlier at the 2020 Golden Globes in January. Bilson and Hader walked the carpet together, celebrating their newfound love and his second consecutive nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for Barry. The two kept a very private personal life and not much was known about their relationship. The two actors co-starred in The To Do List in 2013, which was written and directed by Hader's then-wife, Maggie Carey. Hader and Carey -- who share three daughters together, Hannah, 10, Harper, 7, and Hayley, 5 -- split in 2017, Bilson, meanwhile, is mom to 5-year-old daughter Briar Rose, whom she shares with ex Hayden Christensen.
Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers
After 13 years together, Hammer and Chambers are calling it quits. The couple, who married in 2010, both announced on Instagram that they had come to the end of their romantic relationship. Their message was accompanied by a photo of them when they first got together. "Thirteen years as best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents. It has been an incredible journey, but together, we’ve decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage. As we enter into this next chapter, our children and relationship as co-parents and dear friends will remain our priority," Hammer, 33, and Chambers, 37, said in a joint statement. "We understand this news lends itself to public dialogue, but in the interest of our children and our family, we’re asking for privacy, compassion and love during this time." The pair has two children, 5-year-old daughter Harper and 3-year-old son Ford.
Simone Biles and Stacey Ervin Jr.
The 23-year-old Olympic gymnast graced the August issue of Vogue magazine, where she opened up about what life has been like in quarantine. For starters, Biles and Ervin Jr., who is also a gymnast, broke up in early March, at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. "It’s hard being young and having that long of a relationship and then ending it," she told the magazine. "But it was for the best." The pair dated for three years.
Kacey Musgraves and Ruston Kelly
The country singers have filed for divorce. The musicians, both 31, made the "painful decision" together, according to a statement released to ET on July 3. “With heavy but hopeful hearts we wanted to put our own thoughts into the air about what’s happening," the statement read. "These kinds of announcements are always met with scrutiny and speculation and we want to stop that before it even starts. We believe that we were put into each other’s lives for a divine reason and have both changed each other infinitely for the better. The love we have for each other goes far beyond the relationship we’ve shared as husband and wife. It’s a soul connection that can never be erased." They also noted that the split was a joint decision and that they will "remain true friends" forever. Musgraves and Kelly tied the knot in Tennessee in October 2017.
Clark Gregg and Jennifer Grey
The actors have gone their separate ways after almost two decades together. The Dirty Dancing actress and the Marvel star shared that they were “totally crying” while posting identical announcements via both of their Instagram accounts on July 3. "After 19 years together, we separated in January, knowing we'd always be a family who loves, values and cares for each other," they captioned a photo of themselves in happier times. "We recently made the difficult decision to divorce, but we remain close and are deeply grateful for the life we've shared and the wonderful daughter we've raised. - jennifer & clark p.s. totally crying as we post this." Gregg and Grey started dating in the summer of 2000 and wed the following year at Martha’s Vineyard during a ceremony attended by celeb pals like Michael J. Fox and Felicity Huffman. A few months after tying the knot, they welcomed a daughter, Stella Gregg. Leading up to their January split, Grey appeared to have taken a months-long break from Instagram.
Jordana Brewster and Andrew Form
The couple has split after 13 years of marriage. Brewster filed for divorce just before the Fourth of July holiday, ET confirmed. The Fast & Furious star's divorce filing came a month after reports surfaced that the pair had "quietly separated" earlier this year. ET has reached out to Brewster's and Form's reps for comment. The actress and the film producer met on the set of 2006's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, which Brewster starred in. Christina Ricci and James Heerdegen
Ricci has filed for divorce, ET can confirm. According to court records, the 40-year-old actress filed for divorce on July 2. TMZ -- who was first to report the news -- reported that she filed with the L.A. County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences as her reason for the split from the film producer. Ricci was also reportedly granted an emergency protective order by cops after she claims an altercation took place and that Heerdegen allegedly spit on her. ET has reached out to Ricci's rep for comment. The two met on the set of Ricci's short-lived series, Pan Am, in 2011 and got married in October 2013. They share a 5-year-old son, Freddie, whom TMZ reported Ricci is seeking sole legal and physical custody of. The site also reported that there was no prenup between Ricci and Heerdegen.
Ryan Seacrest and Shayna Taylor
The on-again, off-again couple broke up for the third time, ET confirmed. "Ryan and Shayna decided to end their romantic relationship amicably some time ago," Seacrest's rep said in a statement to ET on June 29. "They remain good friends, each other's biggest supporters and will always cherish their time together as a couple." The news came shortly after a story published by the Daily Mail showed Seacrest holding hands with a female companion while relaxing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in late June. Seacrest, 45, was first linked to Taylor, 28, in 2014. They broke up twice before recently getting back together. In May, the American Idol host wished Taylor a "happy third anniversary" while co-hosting his morning show, Live With Kelly and Ryan. "It is our third time together. So we've gotten together, broken up, gotten together, broken up. This is number three of being together. So we're celebrating [that] as well," he said. "It's an 8-year run, but it's our third run together. So, we celebrate each trial." Back in a 2018 interview with ET, Seacrest said he wasn't feeling any pressure to settle down and get married.
Dr. Dre and Nicole Young
The rapper and entrepreneur's wife has filed for divorce, ET confirmed. The two tied the knot in May 1996 and recently celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. Young filed the paperwork on June 29, citing irreconcilable differences as her reason for the divorce, according to TMZ. The estranged couple shares two adult children, son Truice and daughter Truly. Their last public event together was the Tom Ford runway show this past February, which they attended with Truly. They also posed with Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West last December at the glam birthday party for Sean "Diddy" Combs. TMZ reports that sources close to Young say that she and Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Romelle Young, have no prenup and that the attorney is seeking spousal support. Pearce, 30, and Ray, 32, tied the knot in Nashville, Tennessee, last October. They got engaged in December 2018, just several months after going public with their relationship. Fans started to suspect Pearce and Ray's relationship might be on the rocks after an Instagram post on June 20, in which Pearce wasn't wearing her wedding band; she also hadn't posted a photo with Ray in months.
Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey
The Too Hot to Handle couple announced on June 15 that they had called it quits on their romance. The pair began dating on the hit Netflix reality series and continued seeing each other after production ended. In a YouTube video Farago shared revealing the breakup, the 26-year-old Canadian reality star said it was Jowsey who called things off due to the long-distance nature of their relationship. "Harry and I are not together anymore," the Vancouver-based brunette said, adding she "obviously was heartbroken" by the decision. According to Farago, planning trips to visit Jowsey in Los Angeles didn't pan out, and her ex "couldn't do long-distance anymore." Jowsey made headlines when he popped the question to Farago using a Ring Pop candy during a virtual Too Hot to Handle reunion over video chat in May.
Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock
The "Since U Been Gone" singer filed for divorce from her husband in Los Angeles on June 4, ET confirmed. ET has reached out to Clarkson's rep for comment. Clarkson and Blackstock wed in 2013 and share two children together, 5-year-old daughter River and 4-year-old son Remington. "The couple decided to call it quits after realizing the relationship hasn’t been working for a while," a source told ET. "Kelly and Brandon work together nonstop and that became a contention in their relationship. Brandon is the EP of her show as well as her manager. Also, Kelly has always brought up wanting more children, which Brandon doesn’t." The American Idol alum began dating Blackstock -- son of her former manager, Narvel Blackstock (and former stepson of Reba McEntire) -- in 2012. The talk show host said she "felt something" when she first met Blackstock in 2006 but he was married at the time, so she didn't make a move. They didn't meet again until 2012, after his divorce from Melissa Ashworth, with whom he shares two children.
Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph
The pair took to Instagram on May 29 to announce that they had broken up after a year and a half of dating. The former Bachelor -- who tested positive for COVID-19 and has since fully recovered -- began by saying that it's been a crazy few months. "Cass and I have been doing a lot of self-reflecting. Sometimes people are just meant to be friends - and that’s okay," Underwood wrote on instagram. "We both have grown immensely and been through so much together - so this isn’t the end of our story, it’s the start of a whole new chapter for us." Randolph also shared a slideshow filled with pics of the two, adding that sharing their breakup news is "one of the hardest things I have had to share as neither one of us is quite ready to talk about it yet." She added that she loves Underwood "very much" and has an "enormous amount of respect for him," saying, "We have both learned and grown so much these past couple years, and will always have each others back. Always." The pair initially got together on season 23 of The Bachelor but were never officially engaged.
Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich
In a joint statement released on May 29, the 31-year-old dancer and the 36-year-old hockey player announced they're separating after three years of marriage. "We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate," the pair told People. "We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place. We kindly request your compassion and respect for our privacy moving forward." Prior to the announcement, Hough and Laich decided to not quarantine together amid the coronavirus pandemic. She was also previously seen without her wedding ring in a few of her Instagram posts. Laich and Hough tied the knot in July 2017 in Idaho after dating since 2014. In October 2017, Hough told ET that she was loving married life, saying at the time, "I'm really excited. This is a different chapter. I'm 29, and I feel like I'm sort of coming into my own being married. I feel this maturity that has kind of just happened, and a peace and a direction that I want to go towards."
Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart
This Riverdale love story has come to an end. After a nearly three-year romance, the actors have called it quits, according to multiple reports in late May. The couple -- who both star in the CW teen drama as Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper -- are reportedly quarantining separately after splitting up ahead of the coronavirus pandemic, according to Page Six. A source also told People that Sprouse, 27, and Reinhart, 23, are often on-again, off-again, but are currently not together. ET has reached out to reps for both Sprouse and Reinhart for comment. The pair began dating in 2017 and have been at the center of multiple breakup rumors during their relationship.
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green
The pair have split again after nearly 10 years of marriage. The Beverly Hills, 90210 actor confirmed the news on the latest episode of his podcast on May 18, after weeks of speculation the pair had broken up. "I wanted everyone to hear everything from me, and this is it," Green said. The 46-year-old actor said he and Fox started to grow apart at the end of last year, after Fox was away shooting a film for five weeks. "Neither one of us did anything to each other. She's always been honest with me. I've always been honest with her," he shared. "We've had an amazing relationship. I will always love her. And I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family what we have built is really cool and really special.” According to Green, he and Fox will "still do family vacations and holidays as a family and really make that a focus for the kids." Fox and Green started dating in 2004 and married in 2010. They share three sons: Noah, 7, Bodhi, 6, and Journey, 3. Fox filed for divorce from Green in 2015, but the next May, Fox became pregnant with their third child and confirmed that she and Green had reconciled. In April 2019, Fox officially filed to dismiss her divorce case against Green.
Jaime King and Kyle Newman
According to court records obtained by ET, the actress filed for dissolution with minor children, as well as a restraining order. The Hart of Dixie star has been married to Newman, a director, for 12 years and they were together for 15. The pair share two sons, James, 6, and Leo, 4. King met Newman on the set of Fanboys, which he directed and she made a cameo in. Three months later, romance bloomed rapidly. "We started hanging out all the time," King told InStyle. "After one week, we were so close." After tying the knot in Los Angeles, California, in November 2007, King admitted she never thought she would get married. “I don’t know why, but some part of me was instantly connected to him, and I loved him so much,” she also told InStyle. “It was intense. I never thought that would happen to me.” The divorce comes two months after King, 41, shared a post thanking the coronavirus pandemic for "shaking us" and "showing us what is actually important."
Sebastian Yatra and Tini
The singers are going their separate ways. The pair -- who collaborated on two tracks, "Quiero Volver" and "Oye" -- shared the news on Twitter on May 16 after nearly a year together. "We lived beautiful moments, but sometimes things don't turn out how you imagine. Today we feel that this is the best decision for both of us and the nice memories will always be there in our hearts," Sebastian and Tini wrote in Spanish. "Thanks for all the support, we love you a lot." The pair confirmed they were dating in June 2019 with PDA pics on social media.
Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy
Olsen and her husband of five years are divorcing, ET confirmed on May 13. A source told ET that the breakup is "brutal." The former Full House star filed an emergency order to petition for divorce, according to TMZ. ET has reached out to reps for Olsen and Sarkozy for comment. Olsen reportedly tried to file for divorce on April 17 but was informed New York courts were not accepting divorce filings -- other than emergencies -- due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, things reached emergency status, as Olsen claimed Sarkozy was trying to force her out of their New York City apartment. The fashion designer reportedly alleged that her attorneys got an email from Sarkozy's lawyers this week, giving her a May 18 deadline to move out, and she also claimed that Sarkozy terminated their lease without her knowledge and that she asked him to give her until May 30. Sarkozy and Olsen married in November 2015, three years after they started dating. According to TMZ, Olsen requesed their prenuptial agreement be enforced.
Caterina Scorsone and Rob Giles
ET has learned that the Grey's Anatomy star filed for divorce from her husband after 10 years of marriage. "Caterina and Rob have separated. They remain friends and are committed to co-parenting their children in a spirit of love," their reps shared in a joint statement to People on May 8. Scorsone and Giles tied the knot in Toronto in June 2009. The two share three children together -- daughters Eliza, 7, Paloma "Pippa" Michaela, 3, and Arwen, who was born in December.
Ray J and Princess Love
Their love is coming to an end. ET has learned that the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star filed for divorce from her husband after four years of marriage. As news of the divorce filing broke, Love shared a captionless post of a baseball cap, which is slang for "no lie." ET has reached out to Ray J and Love's reps for comment. The two married in August 2016 and share a daughter, Melody, and a son, Epik Ray. Love reportedly filed the docs on May 5 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, according to TMZ, which broke the news. In November, Love told followers that she didn't "want to be married anymore." "I don't have time for this. This is not love. And I'm done," she said on Instagram, following her and Ray J's drama over him allegedly leaving her stranded in Las Vegas.
Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson
The pair called it quits in early April after nearly two years of dating, multiple outlets reported. Rumors that Delevingne, 27, and Benson, 30, were a couple began swirling in August 2018, after they were spotted kissing in London. They finally confirmed the relationship in June 2019, while stepping out together for The Trevor Project's TrevorLIVE Gala in New York City. Delevingne was the recipient of the Trevor Project Hero Award, and during her acceptance speech, she wasn't shy about expressing her love for the Pretty Little Liars star, saying, "She's one of the people who helped me love myself when I needed it most and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which is a lot harder than I thought." Three months later, Delevingne addressed why she had been hesitant to go public with their relationship to Elle UK, explaining, "Because it's sacred. I get why people care so much, and I don’t want to be so secretive that people think I’m ashamed of anything. But I’ve never been in a relationship where things are so public, or where I posted pictures of someone else. This seemed different."
Jeff Lewis and Scott Anderson
Lewis split with his boyfriend over the first weekend of May, and shortly after, the Flipping Out star candidly discussed how weeks of negativity between the two and frequent “hyper-criticism” left him feeling suffocated. The breakup, which was Anderson’s idea, came after one year of dating. "The last eight weeks have been rough," he said while discussing the split on Jeff Lewis Live, which airs on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy. "He's had a lot of anxiety, a lot of frustration, and it got to a point where I felt that he was hyper-critical of me and it was a lot of negativity and there was just always complaining." The two made their relationship Instagram official in August, after romance reportedly bloomed in March 2018.
Stacey Dash and Jeffrey Marty
The Clueless actress and her husband -- who wed in April 2018, 10 days after meeting for the first time -- are in the process of filing divorce papers after two years of marriage. A rep for Dash exclusively told ET, "It is a mutual and amicable split. It was a hard decision that both of them decided to make." Dash also posted to Instagram on April 30, writing, "My husband and I have made the hard decision of ending our marriage. After much prayer, I feel this is the right path for both of us. I wish him nothing but the best. Thank you everyone for your support and respecting our privacy during this difficult time." The news came seven months after Dash was taken into custody on Sept. 29, after an alleged incident involving her husband. According to a cash appearance bond document obtained by ET, Marty paid $500 to bail the actress out of jail. Dash has been married four times; her ex-husbands include producer Brian Lovell, British executive James Maby and actor Emmanuel Xuereb.
Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler
The pair announced that they were divorcing after 10 years together in a joint statement shared via their Instagram pages on April 26."With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of," the statement read. "This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family."
In divorce documents obtained by ET, Cavallari listed the date of separation as April 7, citing "marital misconduct" and "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the breakup, while Cutler officially filed for divorce on April 21, citing "irreconcilable differences" and listing the date of separation as the date of the f iling. He did not mention any misconduct against Cavallari in his petition. As for their kids -- sons Camden, 7, and Jaxon, 5, and daughter Saylor, 4 -- Cavallari is asking for primary physical custody and seeking child support. She's requesting that Cutler be allowed visitation, and that the former NFL star pays for their children's health insurance and maintains a life insurance policy with her name listed as the sole beneficiary.
Timothee Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp
The young stars have split after more than one year of dating, US Weekly reported. The news came just days before an interview with Chalamet was published in the May issue of British Vogue, in which the actor was described as being single. The Call Me By Your Name star appeared alongside Depp -- the daughter of actor Johnny Depp -- in the film, The King. They were first linked romantically in 2018, when they were seen making out in New York, and shortly after they vacationed together in Paris, France. The two were last photographed kissing passionately on a boat in Capri, Italy, in September 2019.
Charli D'Amelio and Chase Hudson
The TikTok stars have called it quits. They each took to their Instagram Stories to share the news, which came just months after they first started hanging out. In her post on April 13, D'Amelio, who recently became the most-followed person on TikTok, revealed that she decided to post about the split since her followers have watched "mine and chase's relationship from the start." The 15-year-old social media phenom wrote that it "hurts" her to share the news of her breakup, but insisted that the decision was "what's best for the both of us." "We are still close friends and i would not change that for anything! i truly have so much love for chase and wish nothing but the best for him!" she wrote. "it makes me so happy to see all of the great things he has going for him." In his post, Hudson, 17, said that "while we will always have love for each other, we are no longer together" and echoed D'Amelio's apology about delaying the reveal of their split.
Channing Tatum and Jessie J
ET learned on April 4 that Channing Tatum and Jessie J had split again, just a few months after reconciling in late January. A source told ET that the breakup was amicable, noting that the couple tried to make it work, but in the end, they realized they were better off as friends and it was time to move on. The Magic Mike star and pop singer were first romantically linked in October 2018, following Tatum's split from wife Jenna Dewan, with whom he shares a 6-year-old daughter, Everly.
Colbie Caillat and Justin Young
The Gone West bandmates have ended their year-long engagement. Caillat broke the news via a statement shared to her Instagram on April 2. She and Young had been together for over 10 years. "This is difficult for us to share, but we want to be honest with you all. After 10 wonderful years, Justin and I have ended our relationship," Caillat wrote in a joint message with the Hawaiian singer-songwriter. "We started out as best friends and we will continue to be best friends. And we will continue to work and make music together, as we always have. It will be hard, but oftentimes the hard choice is the right choice and the path that will allow each of us to move forward and to grow," the statement added. This would have been the first marriage for the 46-year-old actress, who shares an 11-year-old daughter, Easton, with her ex-fiancé, Ron Wooster.
Lana Del Rey and Sean 'Sticks' Larkin
A source tells ET that the 34-year-old singer and 46-year-old police officer split in mid-March and that they are genuinely still friends. Larkin -- who works in the gang unit of the Tulsa, Oklahoma, police department and serves as an analyst on A&E's Live PD, hosts Live PD Presents PD CAM and appears on Live Rescue -- talked about their relationship in a new interview with The New York Times and confirmed they were no longer dating. "Right now, we're just friends," he says of where he currently stands with Del Rey. "We still talk and whatnot, we just have busy schedules right now." The two had been linked since September, when they were snapped together at Central Park in New York City and Del Rey made their relationship Instagram official in December. The New York Times writes that the two met through work in New York, and Larkin says "of course" he know who she was before they began dating and that his two kids were "blown away" when they learned of their dad's new girlfriend. Still, despite her fame, Larkin says the two did normal "boyfriend, girlfriend type of things together," like going to Target and running errands in Tulsa.
Madelaine Petsch and Travis Mills
The couple has split after three years together. ET has reached out to Petsch and Mills' reps for comment. Breakup rumors recently sparked after fans noticed the pair posting less and less of each other on social media. Mills, 30, last posted a photo with the Riverdale star, 25, after their trip to Disneyland last December, while her most recent post about him was celebrating his birthday, last April. Their last red carpet appearance together was at the GLSEN Respect Awards in Los Angeles on Oct. 25, 2019. Mills confirmed the breakup via social media on Feb. 20. “Been writing, and re-writing this the last few days," he began. "I've had to accept there’s no possible way to capture a love of this scale or its significance to me, in a few paragraphs. That said, I'll try, because so many of you supported us over the years like a family would. So here it goes.” Mills described his three years with “compassionate, smart & wonderful” Petsch as grounding and “non-superficial,” despite the two being in the public eye.
Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters
Just 12 day after the pair tied the knot in an intimate Malibu, California, wedding ceremony, the former Baywatch star and the producer have called it quits. "I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union. We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to re-evaluate what we want from life and from one another," Anderson said in a statement to ET. "Life is a journey and love is a process. With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually decided to put off the formalization of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process. Thank you for respecting our privacy." A source close to the couple told ET, "Pamela asked for a break, and Jon understands. It all happened so fast. She needs some time." According to The Hollywood Reporter, who broke the news, the couple hadn’t filed the legal paperwork for their marriage certificate. Anderson and Peters, 74, got married in a surprise private ceremony in Malibu, California, on Jan. 20. The two dated three decades ago and reunited recently before becoming husband and wife.
Joe Amabile and Kendall Long
The reality stars, who first met on the fifth season of Bachelor in Paradise in 2018, announced that they have "mutually [decided] to go our separate ways" in a statement to Bachelor Nation on Jan. 28. "Our family and friends have always been an extremely important element to who we are as people. We can’t imagine continuing our lives without them closer, especially when thinking of starting a family of our own one day. We both respect each others' decision and still have a great deal of love for each other. We appreciate all the love and support everyone has given us throughout our relationship." Though the pair initially called it quits on Paradise, they got back together when Long traveled to Chicago after filming concluded. From there, Amabile moved to Los Angeles to compete on season 27 of Dancing With the Stars in 2018. He and Long maintained their relationship, moving in with each other last April and adopted a dog together in December 2019. When ET's Lauren Zima spoke to Amabile and Long last month, they said that they had discussed getting engaged.
Lena Waithe and Alana Mayo
On Jan. 22, ET confirmed that the pair split. Waithe and Mayo announced the news on Jan. 22, just two months after Waithe revealed that they had gotten married. "After careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways," the former couple said in a joint statement to ET. "We have nothing but support for one another and ask that you respect our privacy during this time." The screenwriter, producer and actress revealed that she and Mayo had tied the knot during a November appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which was guest hosted by John Legend. Meanwhile, Santana and Metcalfe were publicly together as recently as Jan. 4, when they attended an Art of Elysium event in Los Angeles and posed for pictures together.

Us Weekly was first to report the news on Jan. 17. The Fenty designer hinted in November 2019 that she would be taking a break following an "overwhelming" year. "To all my friends/family/coworkers who I have yet to get back to in the past months...please forgive me," she shared on Instagram "This year has been quite an overwhelming one, and I'm working on that ish called Balance. brb." A month prior, she opened up about her relationship with Jameel in an interview with Vogue. Us Weekly, who was first to report the news, claimed that Hudgens has been telling close friends about the split, while People noted a source confirmed their breakup. ET has reached out to both Hudgens' and Butler's reps for comment. Fans had noticed that the two have been absent from one another's social media accounts in recent months and over the holidays. The most recent photo Hudgens shared with Butler was on Halloween, and they were still very much together then, while their last red carpet appearance together was last August.
Jeffree Star and Nathan Schwandt
The makeup mogul confirmed that he and his boyfriend of five years had split in a 17-minute YouTube video, posted on his channel on Jan. 11. "I never thought the day would come where I would be sitting here, talking about this. We've tried to film this 10 times now and I've cried every single time and… we are a few weeks of me and Nathan no longer being together," the makeup mogul admitted. Star got candid about how he and his "soulmate" had been through so much in the past years and knew fans were shocked, but it appeared like the two ended things amicably, with Star praising Schwandt for being "the only man that was ever confident enough to love me." Star also made sure to point out in his video that he and Schwandt are still forever friends. Rumors of a breakup had been circulating for a couple of days after a series of canceled events and cryptic posts shared by Star, who had also been quiet on all social media accounts.
Katie Cassidy and Matthew Rodgers
It's over after just 13 months of marriage for Cassidy and Rodgers. According to court records, the 33-year-old actress filed for divorce from her husband in Los Angeles on Jan. 8. The pair got engaged in June 2017 while vacationing in Mauritius and eloped that same year; they later threw a wedding celebration in Sunset Key, Florida, in December 2018. "I’m happy to still be able to sit with Jake and laugh as we do this- but for right now we both are taking a break to focus on our own very crazy lives. I’ll never know what the future holds and i will always love Jake and everything we did. I’m grateful to know throughout this i’ve made a best friend for life & found someone to do life with when no one understood me." Mongeau also made a somewhat confusing reference to her and Paul's apparently not-legally-binding marriage, writing, "Here’s to 2020, working on us, and my new Lamborghini since i get half of everything!" Soon after, Paul shared the same photo and revealed that both he and Mongeau had written their break-up announcements while lying side by side. "As Tana and I sit next to each other writing captions about taking a break we’re literally laughing at how crazy and stupid the past couple months have been and cracking jokes at how silly this all seems," Paul wrote. "I’m keeping custody of Thor but Tana unfortunately gets my Lamborghini?. I wouldn’t change anything that happened," Paul added, "We’re best friends and right now it’s best for us to focus on our lives & see what the future holds." The 22-year-old YouTube star said that, despite the split, both of them were in good spirits.

The "Shake It" singer and Sanders announced that they were engaged in December 2018. "Well… It’s official! SHE SAID YES! We’re getting married!" Cyrus captioned a since-deleted video of him and Sanders shortly after he popped the question. "I will love you FOREVER!!! @taylorlaurensanders." This was the singer's second engagement; he was previously set to marry Brenda Song before they split in 2012.
