Meadow Walker and Louis Thornton-Allan
Meadow Walker and Louis Thornton-Allan are ending their marriage. The former couple made the announcement in a statement posted on social media on Dec. 27, 2023, calling the split a "united decision."
"Statement from the two of us," the late Paul Walker's daughter's message began. "After three wonderful years of marriage, we have come to the agreement to amicably separate. This is truly a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy. We maintain mutual love and respect for one another, and will continue to support each other."
Bruna Biancardi and Neymar
Bruna Biancardi and Neymar officially called it quits one month after welcoming their daughter, Mavie.
The model shared the update on her relationship with the Brazilian athlete via her Instagram Stories on Nov. 28. Per People, Bruna's message, translated from Portuguese, read, "This is a private matter, but as I deal with news, assumptions and jokes every day, I inform you that I am not in a relationship."
"We are Mavie's parents, and that is the reason for our bond," she added.
The model finished her message by saying she hopes this announcement will keep her out of the news from now on. "Thanks," she concluded.
Lukas Gage and Chris Appleton
Chris Appleton, Kim Kardashian's famed hairstylist, filed for divorce from The White Lotus actor after just over six months of marriage. Their wedding was featured on an episode of Hulu's The Kardashians.
In court documents obtained by ET, Appleton, 40, cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for his split from Gage, 28. Their separation is listed as Nov. 10.
Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd
The country singers have officially split after five years together. Morris, 33, filed for divorce on Oct. 2, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their separation, according to documents obtained by ET. The date of their separation coincides with the date of filing, and the pair has a prenuptial agreement in place.
Hugh Bonneville and Lulu Williams
The Downton Abbey star and his wife of 25 years decided to call it quits on Oct. 1, according to multiple reports.
A spokesperson for the actor confirmed the news to The Sun.
The former couple first sparked split rumors when Bonneville attended Downton Abbey co-star Michelle Dockery’s wedding without Williams and sans wedding ring.
Tamar Braxton and Jeremy "JR" Robinson
The singer and her fiancé, JR Robinson, have officially called it quits. JR took to his Instagram Story to announce that he had decided to end their relationship.
"So many questions. So many assumptions. I want to answer all that I can with respect. Yes, Tamar and I are no longer together. I ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy & being a better person," he wrote.
While JR acknowledged the public's curiosity surrounding their breakup, he made it clear that the details of what transpired would remain private. He clarified several rumors in his statement, denying any infidelity and disassociating himself from the burglary incident that occurred at home of Tamar's mother, Evelyn. Furthermore, he emphasized that his involvement with the Peacock dating show, Queens Court, and his subsequent relationship with Tamar were not driven by a desire for fame.
Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson
Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith have split after three years of marriage.
Turner-Smith filed for divorce from the 45-year-old actor, citing "irreconcilable differences," ET has confirmed.
In court docs filed Sept. 11 by celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser in Los Angeles, the date of the former couple's separation is listed as Sept. 13. Turner-Smith is seeking joint custody of their three-year-old daughter, Juno Rose Diana Jackson, and asking that no spousal support be awarded to either party. She is also requesting that attorney's fees and costs to be paid by Jackson.
Gordon Thornton and Mia Thornton
The Real Housewives of Potomac star announced her separation from husband Gordon on Sept. 29. The couple has been married for 11 years.
"Like all marriages, ours has had its ups and downs," the reality star, 38, tells People. "At this time, Gordon and I are separated, but my family is my number one priority, and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure we are okay."
Mia adds that she and Gordon "ask that you respect our privacy and give us the time and space to figure things out."
Jeannie Mai and Jeezy
Jeannie Mai and Jeezy are calling it quits.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, pulled the plug on the marriage. The move comes more than two years after he and The Real co-host tied the knot during an intimate ceremony in Atlanta on March 27, 2021. The outlet reported Jeezy filed the paperwork in Fulton County Superior Court.
In court documents obtained by the Journal-Constitution, the rapper says he's been separated from Mai and that they have a prenuptial agreement. He's seeking joint legal custody of their daughter, Monaco, whom the couple welcomed in January 2022.
ET has reached out to Jeezy and Mai's reps for comment.
Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness
Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness are calling it quits. On Sept. 15, 2023 in a statement to People, the duo, who tied the knot in 1996, announced that they are separating. ET has reached out to Jackman's rep for comment.
"We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage," the pair's joint statement reads in part. "Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth."
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner
Joe Jonas is calling it quits with Sophie Turner after four years of marriage. In documents obtained by ET, the Jonas Brothers singer filed in Miami, Florida, citing that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken."
News of the filing comes two days after multiple reports confirmed that Jonas retained a divorce attorney. A source told ET that the 27-year-old Game of Thrones star and 34-year-old "Burnin' Up" musician "have been spending more time apart recently," and that "Joe has been busy on tour and spending a lot of time with his family."
The pair -- who also share two kids -- were first romantically linked in 2016. A year after that, they confirmed their engagement, and then tied the knot in a surprise Las Vegas wedding ceremony two years later.
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari
Sam Asghari filed for divorce from Britney Spears on Aug. 16, after one year of marriage. The news of the divorce came hours after it was revealed that they had split up. A source told ET at the time, "Britney and Sam have split. She's adamant she didn't cheat. The two haven't got along for a while and it finally came to an end after a major blowup." Meanwhile, another source told ET Spears "has not been doing well" amid the split.
"She has been denying any cheating allegations and going through a lot of emotions," the source says. "She is hurt because the situation brings up old feelings for her. This is the last thing she needed, especially after her boys moved to Hawaii, being worried about the fires there, and so on. She has been trying to get back on her feet and be healthy emotionally, physically, and mentally. Britney has people by her side and her immediate circle is there for her. They are rallying around her."
Spears and Asghari tied the knot in an intimate wedding at Spears' California home in June 2022, nearly six years after they met on the set of her 2016 music video for "Slumber Party." The wedding was attended by fellow stars including Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton, Madonna, Drew Barrymore, and Donatella Versace, who designed Spears' custom gown.
Justin Trudeau and Sophie Grégoire Trudeau
On Aug. 2, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on social media that he and his wife Sophie are separating after 18 years of marriage.
"After many meaningful and difficult conversations, we have made the decision to separate," Trudeau wrote.
Sophie Grégoire Trudeau posted a similar message on her account. The couple share three children — 15-year-old Xavier, 14-year-old Ella-Grace and 9-year-old Hadrien. They asked the public to respect their privacy for the "well-being of our children."
According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office, the Trudeaus have signed a legal separation agreement.
Tina Knowles Lawson and Richard Lawson
Tina Knowles and Richard Lawson have separated after eight years of marriage.
Tina filed for divorce on July 26, 2023, according to court documents obtained by ET. Tina cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for divorce.
Tina listed the couple's date of separation as July 25, 2023. She also asked for the court to restore her name to Celestine Knowles.
Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro
Rosalía broke her silence following the announcement that she and Rauw Alejandro ended their engagement.
The "Con Altura" singer took to her Instagram Story to shut down any speculation regarding their split.
"I love, respect and admire Rauw," she wrote in the note, shared in Spanish.
"I'm not paying attention to the movies," she added, referencing the gossip surrounding the breakup. "We know what we lived. This is not an easy moment, so thank you for understanding and respecting."
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez
On July 17, a source told ET that the singer-actress and her husband had separated and were "quietly and lovingly working on their friendship."
"Ariana and Dalton tried to make things work, but ultimately they were just not a good fit," another source told ET. "Dalton has been very private and low-key about their relationship with his work colleagues and hasn’t been talking a lot about their split."
The couple tied the knot in May 2021, five months after the singer announced her engagement. A source has since confirmed Grande is now dating her Wicked co-star, Ethan Slater.
Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello
On July 17, it was announced that the Modern Family star and True Blood actor had called it quits after seven years of marriage.
"We have made the difficult decision to divorce," the pair said in a statement. "As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives."
Vergara and Manganiello's relationship began in 2014, and they got engaged after six months of dating. They officially became husband and wife on Nov. 22, 2015.
Jeremy Allen White and Addison Timlin
The Bear actor's wife filed for divorce from him on May 11 in Los Angeles. According to the divorce filing obtained by ET, Timlin lists the date of separation as Sept. 1, 2022. In her divorce filing, Timlin asks for spousal support. Meanwhile, a source told ET that she and White attempted to work things out before deciding to split, but that they "were having trust issues during their relationship, that ultimately led to their divorce." The longtime couple met in 2008. They welcomed their first child, Ezer, a decade later. White and Timlin tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony back in 2019. Then, in December 2020, the pair welcomed their second daughter, Dolores.
Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak-Biermann
Both Kim and Kroy filed for divorce from one another after 11 years of marriage on May 5, but two months later, ET confirmed with Kroy's lawyer, Marlys Berstrom, that both "parties are dismissing divorce action and reconciling."
Then in August, Kroy filed for divorce a second time.
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have called it quits. ET has exclusively learned that the "Lavender Haze" singer and the British actor broke up on April 8.
ET has also learned that the split was amicable and "it was not dramatic." ET is told "the relationship had just run its course. It's why [Alwyn] hasn't been spotted at any shows."
It wasn't so long ago when Swift and Alwyn were said to have been in a great place in their relationship. They started dating in late 2016, and a source told ET back in October that they were "doing great" and that their "relationship is super strong."
Camila Cabello and Austin Kevitch
Camila Cabello and Austin Kevitch are calling it quits, just eight months after first sparking romance rumors, a source confirmed to ET.
"Camila and Austin broke up," the source said, adding that the breakup was announced on Kevitch's exclusive dating platform, Lox Club. "It was announced in a Lox Club newsletter that Austin is single again."
As for the reason behind the breakup, the source noted that it was simply too challenging for the pair to balance their relationship and their work schedules.
Billie Eilish and Matthew Tyler Vorce
Billie Eilish and Matthew Tyler Vorce have called it quits. The 20-year-old singer's former beau confirmed their split on his Instagram Story, while also bashing social media rumors that he cheated on Eilish.
"Nobody cheated on anyone. Relationships end. Simple as that," he wrote. "Creating rumors and LYING on the internet is dangerous."
Mod Sun and Avril Lavigne
A source close to Avril, 38, tells ET, "Avril and Mod Sun have broken up and called off their engagement. Things haven't been great between Avril and Mod Sun for quite some time, and after trying to make things work, Avril realized the relationship wasn't right for her."
Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth
After 12 years of marriage, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth are going their separate ways.
The former couple announced their split in a joint statement shared to social media on Friday, March 24, two days before their wedding anniversary.
"We have some personal news to share... It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce," the statement read. "We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together. Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter. These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone's respect for our family's privacy at this time."
