Meghan Markle wed Prince Harry at Windsor Castle on May 19, and the bride looked incredibly regal and stunning during the ceremony. Can't get enough of the Los Angeles native's gorgeous gown? Click through the gallery for more details and angles of the fabulous dress.
The Design
The focus of the Givenchy gown was the graphic open bateau neckline that framed Meghan's shoulders and emphasized a "slender sculpted waist." The design house also noted that the slim three-quarter sleeves added "a note of refined modernity" and that the underskirt was made of triple silk organza.
The Dress
Meghan wore a Givenchy gown designed by acclaimed British designer Clare Waight Keller.
The Lines
To stay true to the design house, the pure lines of the dress, which extended toward the back to where the train flowed in soft, rounded folds, were achieved with six meticulously placed seams.
The Fabric
Waight Keller conducted extensive research in European fabric mills and ended up developing an exclusive double-bonded silk cady with a soft, matte luster and pure white hue.
The Tiara
Meghan's veil was held in place by Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara, which was lent to her by Queen Elizabeth. The English bandeau was made in 1932, but the entire brooch dates back to 1893.
The Veil
According to Kensington Palace, Meghan "expressed the wish of having all 53 countries of the Commonwealth with her on her journey through the ceremony," so her veil represented the distinctive flora of each country united into one floral composition.
The Train
The page boys helped hold up the long veil as Meghan walked into the chapel. "Significant time was spent researching the flora of each Commonwealth country and much care was taken by Ms. Waight Keller to ensure that every flower is unique," the Kensington Palace announced.
The Full Veil
The 16-foot-long veil, carried by the page boys as Meghan walked into the chapel, was made from silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza.
The Ring
Meghan's ring was fashioned from a piece of Welsh gold, gifted by Her Majesty the Queen, while Harry's ring is a platinum band with a textured finish.
The Vibe
Though created by a famed British designer, Meghan's dress definitely gave off Jackie O. vibes!
The Jewelry
The Duchess of Sussex wore diamond Givenchy earrings, and her engagement ring and new gold diamond band were also on display during the couple's carriage procession.
