The Summer House star volunteered with The Assistance League of Los Angeles for its annual Prom Day 2023 event, which provides underprivileged high school girls experiencing homelessness, or who are in the foster care system, the chance to shop at a pop-up boutique to find the perfect dress, shoes, accessories, and makeup for their big night.

The Santa Clauses star brought some Christmas joy by giving back to those in need and serving out meals at the  43rd annual free Christmas dinner and show at The Laugh Factory in West Hollywood, California, on Dec. 25, 2023. Apart from food and laughs, the annual event provided free toys for kids, as well as free flu shots, COVID-19 shots and health screenings. The country crooner is putting his money to a good cause. On Dec. 10, Oklahoma University’s Children’s Hospital Foundation announced on Twitter that the Voice star helped establish the Blake Shelton Cancer Research Program. Shelton dedicated the program to his cousin, Aspen Van Horn, who received treatment for a neuroblastoma tumor when he was a 5-month-old infant at the hospital's Jimmy Everest Center. Shelton previously donated $600,000 to the Jimmy Everest Center in 2016, while he was playing a concert in Oklahoma City.

The This Is Us star signed a Balsam Hill ornament this holiday season to benefit Operation Smile. The Assasination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story star helped deliver the keys to three new homes to deserving families in Loíza, Puerto Rico, in early December. Martin's organization, The Ricky Martin Foundation, has been at the forefront of helping rebuild the area after hurricanes Irma and Maria in September 2017. "Our goal and social legacy is to reconstruct 225 homes in Loíza, Puero Rico," he said in a statement, reaffirming his desire to do good in the area. 

Along with 100 other volunteers, the Insecure star and the 911 actress joined JetBlue in the Dominican Republic for a three-day service trip in late November. The duo participated in the airline’s philanthropic pillars of youth and education, the environment and community, which included projects like restoring a school for students with special needs and helping build sustainable and affordable buoys to protect the island's coral reefs.

The "1999" singer headlined the Billy Ball Fundraiser concert at The Globe Theater in Los Angeles on Nov. 30. The charity performance was held to benefit Billy Clayton, a young English musician who was has spent the last three years battling Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. A GoFundMe page set up by Clayton's mother is still collecting donations for her son's treatment.

The Will & Grace star read to kindergarteners in New York City during Giving Tuesday on Nov. 27. The event supported Pajama Program, a charity promoting a comforting bedtime routine for children affected by instability in order to help them thrive. "[The non-profit] teamed with @sleepnumber and created a day for these children full of reading that ended with the kids being sent home with a new pillow, a pair of pajamas and books," Messing wrote on Instagram. "I'm so thankful to have been a part of it."

The Wild 'N Out host brought his adorable twins, Monroe and Morrocan, along with him to the Food Bank for New York City's Community Kitchen in Manhattan's Harlem neighborhood on Nov. 21, showing them the importance of the Feeding America movement as the trio served pre-Thanksgiving meals and helped seniors shop for food for their pantries.

The 7 v. 7 exhibition match teamed up celebrities, athletes and SI Swimsuit models to benefit the non-profit Best Buddies. The game was followed up with an after-party at the hotel's WET Deck that included a poolside performance by Flo Rida.

The trio was among the celebs who bonded at the Sip. Savor. Support. Fundraiser at Wally's in Beverly Hills on Nov. 12. The event raised money for the Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) Medical Research Foundation, a volunteer-run non-profit raising funds for research of EB, a rare, debilitating genetic skin disorder that currently has no cure.

Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough and 12 of his biggest fans hit the High Roller observation wheel at the LINQ Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Nov. 11, to raise funds for Lupus LA, which helps those suffering from the inflammatory disease. “Cheers to all of you for coming out,” Dorough said while toasting fans with JottShots as they soared 550 feet above Sin City. “Thank you for supporting Lupus LA and bringing awareness to this unfortunate disease.” The High Roller was lit up orange in honor of the fundraiser and Dorough, who lost his sister, Caroline, to the illness.

The Simmons clan stepped out on Nov. 10 for a night of poker at the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation's Heroes for Heroes event, which raised $300,000 for families of injured or fallen LAPD officers and first responders. “There are people in uniform -- our police, firefighters and first responders -- risking their lives right now to save your home, pets and family, and what they get is a few hundred bucks,” said the KISS rocker, who donated $100,000 to the event and was honored for his ongoing efforts in helping the LAPMF.

All four of the couple's kids -- daughters Schuyler, Aquinnah and Esme and son Sam -- joined their parents at Fox's annual "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's" benefit. Pollan, a cookbook author and actor, stunned in Solange Azagury-Partridge jewelry at the gala, which was held at the Hilton New York on Nov. 10 to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

The award-winning television writer and executive producer delivered the keynote speech at LA Promise Fund’s annual Girls Build Summit in Los Angeles, California, on Sept. 30. Ten thousand young women and girls from schools around Los Angeles County gathered at USC’s Galen Center to hear inspiring words on cultivating civic engagement and voter registration. The event featured an eye-opening dialogue led by Parkland High School shooting survivors and March for Our Lives activists Kyrah Simon and Delaney Tarr, who explained how to mobilize student-driven activism to encourage voter registration. The day closed out with a performance from singer-songwriter Daya.

The actress co-hosted an exclusive charity event at Vista Charter Middle School in Los Angeles on Sept. 5 to support the Vera Bradley and Blessings in a Backpack back-to-school tour. The brand's philanthropy pledge will donate 25,000 backpacks filled with food to underprivileged children and their families across America.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and her MLB star hubby spent the day playing with adoptable puppies at their Fourth Annual Grand Slam Adoption Event at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas, hours before the Astros faced off against the Los Angeles Angels on Sept. 2. The happy couple -- who are expecting their first baby together -- cuddled on the field with adorable dogs who were brought to the event from Houston SPCA and Houston Pets Alive. The event also benefited the Wins for Warriors Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering returned military service members and their families which Verlander has supported for several years.

On Aug. 29, the Sons of Anarchy and NYPD Blue alum wore an important message right on his shirt as he helped the city of Los Angeles officially declare Sept. 7 "Stand Up to Cancer Day." That Friday is also when the sixth biennial SU2C telecast will air, which highlights the progress being made by researchers as well as helps raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

Just ahead of the one-year anniversary of the Rohingya refugee crisis on Aug. 25, Hadid visited refugee camps in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, with UNICEF to promote the well-being and rights of every child and shed a light on the terrible situation overseas. The trip marked the model's first trip with the organization.

The Olympic gold medalist got her game on while co-hosting Vera Bradley and Blessings in a Backpack's kick-off event for a school charity tour at St. Vincent de Paul Center in Chicago on Aug. 15. The elementary school classes were treated to a carnival, where Johnson played ring toss games, made sand sculptures and played basketball with the attendees.

The "Drop It Like It's Hot" rapper and the NBA champion co-hosted the 5th annual Athletes vs Cancer Celebrity Flag Football Game on Aug. 12 in Los Angeles that benefits the American Cancer Society. The event is put on annually by Barnes as part of a weekend-long fundraiser for cancer research and included a bowling tournament and a pool party. Other participants included Andrew Hawkins, Mario and Red Grant.

The Fast and the Furious star made headlines for his previously undisclosed altruism after an investigative report by the New York Times discovered that the actor and rapper has been randomly buying food for people at grocery stores in Atlanta for more than eight years. The heartwarming news about Ludacris, whose real name is Chris Bridges, came to light when a woman named Therra Jaramillo took to Facebook to share a story about how the performer stepped in to buy her a cart full of groceries after she didn't have enough money to buy them as she was checking out. The Times' report found dozens of similar stories about Ludacris dating back as far as 2010.

The NBA star and his Why Not? Foundation hosted their sixth annual youth basketball camp in Los Angeles on Aug 3. The camp welcomed over 250 kids, who received a day of fundamental and basic training skills. Westbrook acted as coach and referee through multiple basketball and endurance drills, scrimmages and a mini all-star game. Campers were split by age groups, with sessions for 7-10-year-olds in the morning and 11-14-year-olds in the afternoon. 

Westbrook’s Why Not? Foundation is dedicated to supporting community-based education and family service programs. The organization works to help children facing hardships of any nature by inspiring, empowering and teaching them to never give up. 

On July 30, the newly minted Los Angeles Laker celebrated the opening of his I Promise School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. The elementary-level school, which operates in coordination with Akron Public Schools, seeks to educate hundreds of at-risk children and give them the resources, extended hours and concentrated attention needed to overcome historic socioeconomic disadvantages. If the students complete the program, James has arranged for them to have free tuition at the University of Akron. "This skinny kid from Akron who missed 83 days of school in the 4th grade had big dreams..." James tweeted the night before the "first day of school" at I Promise. Big dreams for the kids in Akron to give them everything they could need to find their passion, give back to our community and change the world!! This school is that. The people are that. Akron is that."

The pop icon and philanthropist is currently in Malawi to mark the one-year anniversary of the Mercy James Centre for Pediatric Surgery and Intensive Care. The center, which is funded by Madonna's Raising Malawi charitable organization, is located on the campus of Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital, the country's largest referral hospital. Since opening last year, the talented staff at MJC has admitted nearly 1,500 patients into its ward, and performed 1,690 pediatric surgeries (more than double the annual average).

“It’s a thrill to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Mercy James Centre, its talented staff, and the committed partners who have worked with Raising Malawi to make this effort a success,” Madonna said. “Our achievements this past year have exceeded our expectations, and we will continue with our mission to better serve the children of this country.”
