The 2014 Hollywood Film Awards Red Carpet

The performer hosted the 18th annual Hollywood Film Awards on November 14, 2014. The HFAs, held at the The Hollywood Palladium, mark the unofficial start of awards season. 

The actress and director walked the red carpet after presenting the New Hollywood Award to Jack O'Connell, who plays Olympian-turned-WWII hero Louis Zamperini in Jolie's film Unbroken. 

The Theory of Everything star was honored with the Breakout Performance by an Actor Award for his role as famous physicist Stephen Hawking.   

Knightley was honored with the Hollywood Supporting Actress Award for her role in The Imitation Game. 

The Foxcatcher star accepted the Hollywood Ensemble Award with co-star Channing Tatum. 

Stewart presented her Still Alice co-star Julianne Moore with the Hollywood Actress Award for her portrayal of a college professor with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. 

Cumberbatch accepted the Hollywood Actor Award for his portrayal of British mathematician and computer scientist Alan Turing in The Imitation Game. 

Tatum, who accepted the Hollywood Ensemble Award with Foxcatcher co-star Steve Carell, walked the red carpet with wife Jenna Dewan. 

The Birdman star was honored with the Hollywood Career Achievement Award. 

The Get On Up star presented the Hollywood Blockbuster Award to Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn and star Chris Pratt. 

The Divergent star won the award for Breakout Performance by an Actress for her role in The Fault in Our Stars. 

The comedian and director accepted the Hollywood Documentary Award for his film Supermensch along with the film's subject, legendary talent manager Shep Gordon. 

Monae performed her song "What is Love" from Rio 2 and accepted the Hollywood Song Award. 

The actor accepted the Hollywood Animation Award for his film How To Train Your Dragon 2. 

Swank presented Gone Girl author and screenwriter Gillian Flynn with the Hollywood Screenwriter Award.

The comedian accepted the Hollywood Comedy Film award for his movie Top Five. 

Dern, who plays Shaleine Woodley's mother in The Fault in Our Stars, presented her on-screen daughter with the award for Breakout Performance by an Actress. 

Davis presented Beetlejuice co-star Michael Keaton with the Hollywood Career Achievement Award.
