There are a lot of great things about being insanely wealthy and/or famous, but one of the coolest may be getting music superstars to perform at your fancy, star-studded, black-tie wedding.
These recording industry icons might be fabulously famous themselves, but their massive careers didn't stop these music megastars from working as wedding singers for their friends' special days.

The 'Summertime Sadness' singer brought her dulcet tones to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's pre-wedding bash at the Palace of Versailles in France. Reports initially stated that Lana got millions of dollars for the gig, but the singer later told reporters that she did it for free.

Bocelli is an Italian tenor who is one of the most successful recording artists of all time, with over 100 million albums sold. So it must have meant a lot to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West when he serenaded them at their multi-million dollar wedding in Florence, Italy in May, 2014.

The beautiful and wildly talented 'Lights' singer was invited to perform at the Royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton in April of 2011. Ellie was asked to perform her hit cover of Elton John's 'Your Song' for the Royal couple's first song.

The Queen of Rock & Roll, a title that is well-earned with over forty Top 50 hits and over 140 million albums sold, performed at the wedding of Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo in July. Nicks and Levine even performed a duet during the reception.

The R&B superstar and former host of The Voice performed a set at the 2013 wedding of basketball legend Michael Jordan and his Yvette Prieto. Wedding guests also got to hear a set performed by 'Blurred Lines' singer Robin Thicke.

Aside from performing next to Usher at Michael Jordan's massive wedding, Thicke also sang the first dance song for Kim Kardashian's wedding. Not when she married Kanye, but rather in 2011 when she tied the ill-fated knot with basketball star Kris Humphries. For the first dance, Thicke sang his then-hit song 'Angels.' (The song that would put Thicke on the mainstream map, 'Blurred Lines', was still a year and a half away from being released.)

In 2005, Aguilera sang at the wedding of Russian billionaire industrialist Andrey Melnichenko to his bride Aleksandra Nikolic, who had been named Miss Yugoslavia. Aguilera was supposedly paid $1.8 million for her performance.

In October, 2012, pop superstar Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel read their vows in Southern Italy, and Timberlake took the opportunity at the reception to perform a then-unreleased song dedicated to his new bride.
