Actors Chris Pine and Macaulay Culkin both turn 34 today, and even though most of us probably thought the kid we all remember from Home Alone was much younger than the man who breathed new life into the role of Captain Kirk, we would be wrong.

There are a lot of different factors that play a role in our ability to guess the ages of movie stars. Sometimes, it's the age range of the characters they play (often much younger) or the age of the people they start relationships with (often much younger, as well), their (perceived) maturity level and gravitas, or just the natural complexion and physical vitality they had from birth (and/or make-up).

However, we are usually super, incredibly wrong. Here are some other stars who you would likely never guess were actually the same age…
