Without a doubt, Ilaria counts the Vampire Diaries star's much talked-about appearance at the 2011 Emmys in a bright red Donna Karan dress as her favorite style moment in her career.
"She literally took my breath away," Urbinati says of the moment. She also gives credit to the stylish Dobrev. "She knows how to stand -- she knows how to pose."
To get a flawless fit like Nina's curve-hugging style, she stresses that "tailoring is underestimated."
"Everything is tailored to an inch of its life," she reveals. "We take up the sleeves ... me make it fit. People don’t realize that you can literally buy anything, even if it's not your size, as long as you tailor it. You should definitely invest in a good tailor."

Urbinati counts Bradley Cooper's peacock-colored Ferragamo suit at the London premiere of The Hangover III on May 22, 2013 as one of her favorite looks.
"I never travel with them," Urbinati reveals about how she styles stars for international events. "We make lots and lots of labels, and I pack the s**t out of it."
Another tip for looking great in photos?
"Everything always photographs longer in photos, so I make everything two inches shorter than where I really want it to be," she says.

Armie Hammer's pink Tom Ford suit at The Lone Ranger premiere in Anaheim, Calif. on June 22, 2013, is a stand-out moment for Urbinati as well.
"Relationships work best when they really let me do my job and trust me," she says about fearless fashion choices such as this one. "If they're hesitant, it doesn't work as well."

"Shailene Woodley has a such a strong sense of who she is," Urbinati says about Hollywood's latest It girl. "She has a true sense of self, and is so open to trying things."
Urbinati counts her backless turquoise Stella McCartney gown at the Divergent European premiere on March 30, 2014 as one of her favorite looks from the star.
And according to Urbinati, bright colors are making a comeback for Fall 2014.
"Bright royal blue was on ALL the runways for fall," she dishes. "Mixed with neutrals like grey, white or black, it feels very modern right now."
