11 Pop Culture Moments We're Grateful For

As we give thanks for getting a few days off this Thanksgiving, let us also not forget some of the best styles, stories and trends that this year has brought. From Oprah's Instagram to 'NSync's reunion to The Hunger Games sequel being better than the first, here's our top 11 list (comprised by ETonline's finest editors) of the pop culture occurrences we're most grateful for in 2013.

Though there were a slew of TV and movie cast reunions this year, we're most grateful for the music groups that got back together ...if only for a moment. Both Destiny's Child and TLC regrouped to sing some of their hits, but it was 'NSync's MTV Video Music Awards performance this past August that was the favorite. WATCH.

Just like the royal wedding, the world seemed to stop and celebrate when it was announced that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, and Prince William had welcomed their son Prince George into the world.

Between James Franco's This Is the End comedy, the Kimye Bound 3 spoof and his Comedy Central roast, this "sleep art" actor proved he can laugh at himself and therefore make audiences chuckle in the process.

The reviews are in for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and many critics are hailing it as better than the first one. Other well-received sequels in 2013 were Star Trek Into Darkness and Best Man Holiday, but many are still anticipating Anchorman: The Legend Continues.

While most actors are content with simply playing a single character (slackers), Nina Dobrev and Tatiana Maslany could fill a baseball team -- and stack the bench! -- with the cadre of characters they've each brought to life on The Vampire Diaries and Orphan Black, respectively.

And, what's more, they make the audience forget they're actually watching the same actress by infusing each creation with their own personality, physicality and popularity. The cast and crew of Breaking Bad managed to do the impossible and pull off a series finale that almost everyone was happy about. The AMC show did so well that there will even be a spinoff series revolving around the lawyer, Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk).

Christina Aguilera returned to The Voice this year with a new body and a new sound. In addition to majorly slimming down, she also traded her Dirrty persona for a more singer/songwriter disposition. The pop star joined A Great Big World on their emotional ballad Say Something. LISTEN.

The Hills were alive with the sound of squeeing when the never-before-seen alternate ending to the MTV reality show aired in August! The new ending featured Brody Jenner bidding Europe-bound Kristin Cavallari a fond farewell, but then it cuts to Brody returning home to find Lauren Conrad on his couch!
