It's arguably the most risque red-carpet event of the year, and tonight at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Annual Costume Institute Gala, the most style-savvy stars of the stage, screen and runway will attempt to pull off some jaw-dropping fashion statements.
The 2013 theme was "Punk Rock", but this year it is "White Tie." According to Vogue magazine, "expect to see gloves, '40s and '50s ball gowns, men in tails, up-dos and big bling." In anticipation for the "Oscars of Fashion," check out last year's hot, high-fashion and rather outlandish ensembles that will be tough to top.
