10 Celebrity Nude Scandals

In lieu of the recent nude photo that was leaked allegedly to be of Shiri Appleby (the actress has yet to comment) following her full-frontal sex scene on HBO's Girls, we count down some of the biggest celebrity nude scandals in this tweeting and texting age.

Who knew Alison Pill was so different from her nervous, conservative character on The Newsroom?! The HBO actress, who plays Maggie Jordan on Aaron Sorkin's show, accidentally tweeted a topless photo of herself. Later deleting the promiscuous pic, Pill apologized, tweeting: "Yep. That picture happened. Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet... Apologies."

Ryan Reynolds' first wife Scarlett Johansson, he's now married to Blake Lively, also had a nude photo scandal when her personal email was hacked. Johansson talked about the invasion of privacy to Vogue magazine, saying, "I don't want to be a victim and say, 'Oh, well' and just hide my head in shame. Somebody stole something from me. ... It's sick."

Kanye West didn't seem too embarrassed about his nude scandal. The rapper sent revealing photos to multiple females, only to later reference the nude pics in his song "Runaway". The lyrics read: "She find pictures in my email/I sent this girl a picture of my d***."

In 2010, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre had a nude scandal of his own when alleged photos of his penis surfaced. They were reportedly sent to sports reporter Jenn Sterger.

In 2007, Vanessa Hudgens had nude photos leaked of her online. A Disney darling at the time (she was 18 then), the High School Musical actress issued a statement that read in part: "I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me. I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos."

His Royal Hotness flaunted his royal jewels in the summer of 2012 during a jaunt in Las Vegas. Completely nude, Prince Harry's front was shielded by a pretty girl as he partied in a hotel room. Unfortunately for him, what happened in Vegas, did not stay there.

Though Joan Holloway has never gone completely nude on Mad Men, tongues were wagging when alleged nude photos of the redheaded vixen Christina Hendricks emerged. The actress denied that the topless photos were of her.

Before Alison Pill was flaunting her assets, her Newsroom co-star Olivia Munn had her own nude photo scandal. In March 2012, alleged pics of the buxom brunette in lingerie and then completely naked surfaced. The actress denied they were of her, jokingly tweeting: "If you ever hacked my phone, these are the pictures you'd find."

Like Alison Pill, AnnaLynne McCord also tweeted a topless picture of herself. Sending it to a random fan, she wrote: "This is for you @meganraee You rock! Xxx A." The 90210 star later apologized for the racy tweet.
