Denzel Washington takes Flight; Tyler Perry plays Alex Cross; Celeste and Jesse Forever; Peter Pan, Cabaret and A Star is Born return on Blu-ray; Animaniacs get wacky and more in this week's new releases.

Denzel Washington earns a new Best Actor Academy Award nomination for his turn as a heroic pilot who must face his own inner demons in this new dramatic thriller from director Robert Zemeckis. Denzel plays Whip Whitaker, a seasoned airline pilot who crash-lands his plane after a mid-air catastrophe, still managing to save nearly every person on board. After the crash, Whip is hailed as a hero, but as more is learned, more questions than answers arise as to who or what was really at fault, and he soon finds himself facing criminal negligence charges. Special features on the Blu-ray include Q&A Highlights and several behind-the-scenes featurettes, including Anatomy of a Plane Crash.

In this delightfully witty romantic comedy, Rashida Jones co-writes and co-stars with Andy Samberg in a story about a couple that met in high school and married young. Now growing apart at 30, Celeste is convinced that divorcing Jesse is the right thing to do – but they can still remain supportive friends. Was her decision mature and progressive, or impulsive and selfish? The two come to learn that in order to truly love someone, you may have to let them go. Elijah Wood, Emma Roberts, Chris Messina, Eric Christian Olsen and Will McCormack also star. Tyler Perry gets serious as homicide detective/psychologist Alex Cross, facing off against pumped-up psycho Matthew Fox in this all-new nailbiter. Taking on the James Patterson literary character made famous by Morgan Freeman on the big screen in Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider, Perry's first Alex Cross investigation pits him against serial killer Fox, who takes pleasure in torturing women to death. When the high-stakes game of cat and mouse gets personal, Cross is pushed to the edge of his moral and psychological limits to protect the woman he loves.

Kevin James unleashes his inner ultimate fighter in Here Comes the Boom, in which the funnyman plays a devoted high school biology teacher and former wrestler who steps into the mixed-martial-arts ring in order to raise enough cash to rescue his school's music program. Kevin co-wrote and produced the action-comedy, which also stars Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler.

The Disney animated classic is now on Diamond Edition Blu-ray! Celebrating its 60th anniversary release with a new digital restoration and hi-def picture and sound, this magical, musical journey follows the adventures of Peter Pan, the young boy who refuses to grow up. Along with his pixie pal Tinker Bell and the Darling children, they soar away to the mysterious Never-Never land to battle the nefarious Captain Hook, where childhood lasts forever! Special features include the groundbreaking Disney Intermission, Growing Up with Nine Old Men short, plus never-before-seen deleted scenes and deleted song!

Famed director/choreographer Bob Fosse's Oscar-winning musical drama is now on Blu-ray book in a special 40th anniversary edition, remastered for the first time in over 20 years with over 40 pages of insightful photos/text and a new documentary, Cabaret: The Musical That Changed Musicals. Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey won Academy Awards for this lively story of an eccentric American entertainer in Berlin's decadent Kit Kat Club, circa 1931, living a carefree life and falling in love as the Nazis begin to gain power, threatening their hedonistic existence – and their very lives. The Blu-ray also features the vintage documentaries Cabaret: A Legend in the Making and The Recreation of an Era, a multi-part memory gallery and more.

The 1976 Oscar and Golden Globe-winning classic about a has-been rock star who falls for an up-and-coming talent (Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand, respectively) is now out on Blu-ray book! With a soundtrack remastered in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, the Blu-ray includes 40 pages of live performance photos, rare behind-the-scenes pics and more, plus additional scenes, wardrobe tests and commentary by Streisand.
