Optimistically dreaming about what their child would be like, their lives are changed when a young boy, Timothy (CJ Adams), shows up on their doorstep one stormy night. Soon, the lives of Cindy and Jim and the residents of their small town are impacted by their miraculous new addition. But where did he come from? The whimsical film also stars Ron Livingston, Dianne Wiest, M. Emmet Walsh and Common and is directed by Peter Hedges (Dan in Real Life and the writer of What's Eating Gilbert Grape?).

This post-Katrina fable follows a young girl with an active imagination surviving in a bayou community cut off from the rest of the world. Set in a poor backwoods Louisiana area nicknamed "The Bathtub," Beasts of the Southern Wild tracks the relationship between six-year-old Hushpuppy (impressive newcomer Quvenzhane Wallis) and her ailing father Wink (Dwight Henry), who doles out tough-love as they try to both survive and enjoy their day-to-day existence in their forgotten community cut off from the rest of the world by a sprawling levee.

Can they re-ignite the spark that caused them to fall for each other in the first place? Hope Springs is directed by David Frankel (Marley and Me, The Devil Wears Prada).
