But when he breaks the heart of Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green), the witch turns him into a vampire and buries him alive. Two centuries later, Barnabas is freed from his tomb, only to find his estate in shambles. Can he survive in the very different world of 1972 with a dysfunctional family harboring their own dark secrets? Michelle Pfeiffer, Chloe Grace Moretz, Jonny Lee Miller, Gulliver McGrath, Bella Heathcote, Helena Bonham Carter and Jackie Earle Haley also star.
