The book, which is just one small part of Kate's Golden Hat Foundation, is now available for purchase.

The Golden Hat also features portraits and personal passages from Ben Stiller, Christina Aguilera, Demi Moore, Elijah Wood, Ellen Page, Javier Bardem, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Julianne Moore, Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, Laura Dern, Liev Schreiber, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Maria Sharapova, Marion Cottillard, Naomi Watts and Ricky Gervais.

Along with posing with the signature hat, all the participating celebrities reflect on what their first words would be if they were suddenly able to communicate after years of silence. 

Kate was inspired to organize this compilation after reading a poem by Keli Ericsdottir, the pictured boy, who suffers from a severe case of non-verbal autism. The two met when Winslet narrated the documentary A Mother's Courage: Talking Back to Autism.

"It makes me incredibly proud to work on this effort to bring awareness to the plight of people with autism," the actress and organizer said in a statement. "I believe that all people with autism should be given the opportunity to learn to communicate, receive a suitable academic education and experience social relationships."

2006's Best Supporting Actor Oscar-winner is just one of the famous faces lending his head to The Golden Hat -- a new book of celebrity portraits, compiled by Kate Winslet, in the name of charity!
