The celebrated actress and her husband will soon be expanding their family.
Felicity Jones is celebrating the holiday season with some big news.
The Rogue One star is going to be a mom! The Oscar-nominated actress' rep confirmed to ET on Wednesday that she and her husband, Charles Guard, are expecting their first child.
The 36-year-old actress and the 43-year-old film director tied the knot in a secret ceremony at Sudeley Castle, a sprawling structure near Winchcombe, Gloucestershire in England, in June 2018.
The actress apparently already officially debuted her baby bump when she walked the carpet at the premiere of her upcoming film The Aeronauts at the SVA Theater in New York City on Wednesday, hours before she confirmed that she was expecting.
The actress donned a sleek, elegant black velvet gown with white bows on the shoulders, which worked to hide her burgeoning, barely-there baby bump.
Jones and Guard, who first got engaged in May 2017, are famously private about their relationship. It's unknown at this time if they will make an official personal announcement about their big news in the coming weeks.
While Jones stays mum regarding her relationships, for the most part, the actress beautifully addressed her own appreciation for romantic films when she spoke with The Telegraph while promoting The Theory of Everything in 2014.
"I am definitely romantic and I love romantic stories — that’s why I keep making romantic movies,” she said at the time. "It’s funny how seeing a love story never gets boring because it’s the dream isn’t it? It’s the dream to have a true connection with another human being."
