Kerry Washington is the New Face of Neutrogena

Kerry Washington's flawless skin has not only made Neutrogena tap her as the new face of their mega-brand, but to go one step further by naming her a "creative consultant."

Washington just revealed that aside from starring in their ads, she'll also be co-creating marketing initiatives and giving product feedback to the popular drug store staple.

"The position is new for me and for them. It's a way to be authentically involved in a real partnership with the company," Kerry tells People. "I never wanted to partner with a company where I felt like I was losing myself and my sense of authenticity."

And given her long hours on the set of Scandal, she's more than qualified to talk beauty products.

"I live and work in makeup so I have a perspective on how a lip color works after eight hours on the set or an hour on the red carpet," she says.

Washington has quickly gained a reputation in Hollywood for her enviable fashion -- she was named People's Best Dressed Woman of 2013, and was invited to be a guest judge on Thursday's finale of Project Runway.
