Last week, 'When Calls the Heart' actress Mamie Laverock's family revealed that she had undergone four surgeries.
Mamie Laverock's family provided the world with a little update on her condition.
On Friday, the family took to the 19-year-old When Calls The Heart actress' Facebook and shared a picture with her friends and followers.
The post was an image that appeared to be of Laverock's hand with red nails, holding onto a teddy bear as she laid in the hospital bed. In the comments, Laverock was met with love, prayers and support, along with well-wishes for her to get better.
Last week, Laverock's family shared an update on her recovery, revealing she had undergone four surgeries after being on life support following a fall that took place in a hospital last month.
"Focusing now on Mamie’s surgery today. Her body has been shattered," read a recent update shared via Laverock’s GoFundMe page. "She has undergone two 11-hour surgeries with two doctors working on her, a three-hour surgery and another surgery today. We have nothing but gratitude for the doctors and nurses who have been exemplary in her care since May 26."
"Mamie is 'doing well' comparatively to when she arrived. Doing well because she has survived these extensive surgeries," the statement continued. "She is enduring tremendous pain and continues to not give up. We can only hold onto the miracles of each day and continue to thank everyone for their prayers and marvel at the miracles of her story."
In a separate statement, When Calls The Heart executive producer Erin Krakow shared a message from the family via her Instagram Story, noting that they would no longer be providing updates on her health as they "focus on healing."
Laverock's mother, Nicole Rockmann, revealed in an interview with the Los Angeles Times that her daughter's five-story fall at the hospital in Vancouver on May 26 -- that resulted in her life-threatening injuries -- was not intended or a "suicide attempt" and shared that proper actions will be taken by the family to hold those responsible accountable.
"We have a case. All we care about is that Mamie can make a recovery and that she's alive and that she's fighting and that she's strong," Rockmann said. "It's unbelievable that she's with us."
Amid her recovery, Laverock has received well-wishes from her When Calls The Heart co-stars.
In a statement to ET, Hallmark Media stated, "We are deeply saddened to hear the news about Mamie. As a beloved member of our When Calls the Heart community, we wish her and her family peace, comfort, and many prayers during this difficult time."
