The familial presence onset made filming some scenes uncomfortable.
Emilia Clarke doesn't always love having her brother on set.
The 32-year-old Game of Thrones star appeared on Wednesday night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and revealed the uncomfortable downside to having her older brother, Bennett, work on the show.
"He's in the camera department, which is brilliant. It's amazing," she said, before sharing the not-so-fun part of sharing the same employer.
"There are some days when he’s like, 'Oh, I’ll swing by' because he's literally in the next unit that's, like, filming next door, and I'm like, 'No, it’s good! I'm good. You can stay there,'" she laughed of when she's filming love scenes for the series. "He's like, 'I just wanted to say hi, I haven't seen you in ages!' And I'm like, 'No.'"
As for who'd be the more embarrassed sibling in that scenario, Clarke quipped, "Definitely him."
Though it appears Clarke managed to avoid any uncomfortable encounters with her brother on set, she wasn't so lucky when it came to one of her favorite celebs -- Beyonce.
"She voluntarily came up to me. Like, came up to me, open face, like, 'I want to talk to this girl,'" Clarke recalled of Beyonce approaching her at an Oscars after-party. " ... And I was kinda like, 'Who's behind me? Oh my god!' And I just messed it up."
"She was clearly a fan and I ruined it... I just like [made a noise]. I think I started crying... And she's like, 'Hey. This is uncomfortable now. I thought you'd be cool. You're not cool. Bye,'" Clarke continued. "And I was like, 'No! But can I get you a drink?'"
"Beyonce is really probably the closest thing we have to a Khaleesi here in the world, really," Kimmel said, referencing Clarke's GoT character.
"100 percent," the actress quickly agreed.
JAY-Z was also present during the awkward meeting, which only added to her embarrassment.
"He's like, 'Sup.' He witnessed it all. He's like, 'Oh, she's gonna mess it up. And there it is. Bye,'" she said. "And then I just kept trying to find them all night and it didn't work because I was crying."
Following the unfortunate interaction, Clarke would love another shot to impress the "Formation" singer.
"I would control myself. I love her. I absolutely love her," Clarke gushed. "I'm really serious. I'm really, totally serious. It breaks my heart how much I messed it up."
