Emilia Clarke brought Jon Snow to New York City -- but she wasn't exactly welcomed with open arms.

The Game of Thrones star hilariously went undercover as Kit Harington's brooding character to promote her new Omaze experience, which will let one lucky fan watch the HBO series' final episode with her.

"Since this is the Game of Thrones experience to literally end it all, I thought what better way to spread the word than to hit the streets of Times Square undercover as -- drumroll, please -- Jon Snow!" she says. "The shop was out of Daenerys costumes, because they're sold out. I am Jon Snow, and I'm going to go into Times Square now."

During Clarke's journey, she's met by a slew of unimpressed passersby. "I'm a Walking Dead fan," one pedestrian shares, to Clarke's "Christ!" She did, however, encounter some friendly faces in a souvenir shop, including a figure of Jason Momoa as Aquaman. The actor played Dany's husband, Kahl Drogo, in season one of the series. "I just might take it for later, really," she says.

Clarke told ET at Game of Thrones' season eight premiere earlier this month that she was having trouble readying herself for the end of the legendary series.

"I'm not really preparing for [the ending] at all. I'm waiting for it to, like, hit me like a freight train," she revealed.

The actress did, however, have an idea of who should end up on the Iron Throne when all is said and done. "Daenerys!" she shouted. Watch below.

Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
