The 60-year-old TV host posted the PDA pic to Instagram on Wednesday.
Ellen DeGeneres wished her wife, Portia de Rossi, a very happy birthday in the most adorable way.
The comedian shared a rare PDA pic of her and her wife kissing on the set of her talk show to commemorate de Rossi's 45th birthday on Wednesday.
"Happy birthday to my favorite person in the world," DeGeneres wrote to her wife of nine years.
She also shared a very sweet compilation video of de Rossi's appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show over the years, captioned, "Happy birthday to my beautiful, wonderful, perfect wife."
Just last week, DeGeneres celebrated her own 60th birthday on her show with the help of celebrity guests like Justin Timberlake, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard.
“I feel like as you get older you just get so much more comfortable in your skin and you feel better about yourself and about life," she said at the time.
DeGeneres and De Rossi have probably earned some happy times, given the past few months. The couple escaped harm during wildfires that raged around their home in Montecito, California, only to have to leave their home due to deadly mudslides. DeGeneres also lost her father earlier this year.
And even happier times may be ahead, as the couple will be celebrating 10 years together in August.
Last summer, DeGeneres posted a similarly adorable message to de Rossi on their ninth anniversary, writing, "@PortiadeRossi and I got married 9 years ago today. Being her wife is the greatest thing I am."
