The newlyweds are now back in the U.S. and househunting!
Dancing with the Stars pros Emma Slater and Sasha Farber are “walking on cloud nine,” after returning from their adventurous Mexican honeymoon.
The newlyweds, who tied the knot on Mar. 25. in Los Angeles, California, jetted off on April. 4 for a sun-soaked four-day escape, which saw them doing everything from golfing to bunjee jumping.
“It’s the best feeling in the world to be able to call Sasha my husband in public!” Slater tells ET after returning from the romantic beach getaway. “I feel so fancy saying it! I think this newlywed feeling will last a while. We have always been very attentive to each other, but it’s been that little bit extra since the wedding.”
“We are both walking on cloud nine at the moment,” she adds. “I get mad if he takes his ring off to shower and forgets to put it back on!”
The couple celebrated their nuptails at the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos in beautiful Mexico, where they went swimming with dolphins, enjoyed an ATV tour at Wild Canyon and took in live music around the fire pit. Farber even took the plunge with a bunjee jump!
Back on land, he and Slater spent substantial hours practicing their swings at the Cabo Del Sol golf course -- and stopping for an occasional newlywed kiss, of course!
But the highlight was a romantic dinner on their final night.
“The Grand Fiesta Americana Resort set up a very romantic poolside dinner for us at the Blu Restaurant,” Slater shares. “The table overlooked the beach and the gorgeous Cabo terrain. The food was incredible! Sasha and I both love seafood, so we ordered seared tuna, grilled octopus and a delicious spicy salmon! We had a wonderful night.”
As they settle into married life, the two are now looking for a new house and pumped to do “normal everyday things,” as husband and wife -- like working on new projects or simply discovering new coffee shops.
Slater’s also excited for Dancing With the Stars: Athletes, which kicks off on April 30, with a full lineup of sports stars vying for the mirrorball trophy.
“I’m the most eager to see the competitors in action!” Slater says. “A season full of athletes? That’s going to be wild! I can’t wait to see how good some of them will be, and how their sport and competitiveness helps -- or harms! -- their dancing. Bring it on!”
In the meantime, the pair are enjoying the honeymoon phase, and while reflecting on their wedding on Instagram, Farber shared a cute video message that chart-topper Ed Sheeran sent on their special day.
"Right before our first dance, which was to 'Perfect' by Ed Sheeran, I surprised Emma with this video that played on the big screen. A huge thank you to @teddysphotos for doing this for us," Farber captioned a video, in which Sheeran wished the pair a "wonderful first dance and rest of your life together."
