The 23-year-old Duck Dynasty star and his wife are expecting their first child together, after almost four years of marriage. The couple shared the exciting news on their social media earlier this week, posting adorable photos of the two showing off a black-and-white sonogram.
"Yep, that’s a baby!?," John Luke captioned his sweet snap. In the pic, the expectant dad wears beige pants and a baby blue shirt, while the mom-to-be wears a beige sweater and blush skirt.
Mary Kate, 22, shared another photo from their photo shoot, in which she's cradling her baby bump, writing, "Excited to meet our sweet baby boy in October!!!??✨."
On Monday, Mary Kate thanked her followers and "everyone who has congratulated us and left the sweetest comments about our baby we're expecting!"
"We have felt so loved and it's been really special seeing everyone excited about this little dude!" she added. "We are over the moon excited to meet him in October and I am just so grateful for the Lord entrusting us with this incredible gift❤️."
John Luke and Mary Kate got engaged in October 2014. "Our relationship is focused on God,” John Luke told ET after announcing their engagement. "The divorce rate is 50 percent for everyone. But, for Christians who are active in their faith, it is 35 percent less than that.”
He continued, "Eighty-seven percent of people who have not had sex before they are married have successful marriages. So, for a Christian couple, whose God is at the center of our lives -- and who also haven't had sex -- our percentage is, what, like, 90 something? We're gonna make it!"
They then tied the knot in June 2015 at the Robertson family farm in West Monroe, Louisiana.
