The singer and late-night host got inked on TV.
Seth Meyers and Dua Lipa are now bonded for life! After the 28-year-old "Dance the Night Away" singer was forced to have an early end to her Day Drinking segment on Meyers' Late Night show last month, the 50-year-old host and the singer decided to pick up where they left off during Tuesday's show.
After each taking a shot off the pink slide on Barbie's Malibu Dream House, Meyers and Lipa both enlisted the help of celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang to ink them matching star tattoos.
Lipa noted that she has around 20 tattoos and was game to get a tiny black star on the side of her foot. Meyers had never gotten inked before and decided to get the same tiny star on the back of his right calf.
"Right there, yeah, I want to kind of forget I have it," Meyers quipped.
Refusing to let Lipa be the one to tattoo him, Meyers was still game to get the permanent reminder of his musical pal.
The two bonded over drinks back in December when Lipa participated in the day drinking segment. The failed event was discussed during Lipa's interview on Tuesday night.
"First of all, I'm just very happy that I get to live another day. It's not something that I like to brag about, but I think I'm a good drinker," the "Houdini" singer admitted.
"You came into it with the confidence of somebody who'd maybe had a couple," Meyers said of Lipa.
"I just wasn't prepared for what was waiting for me… within, like, 45 minutes we were having a laugh, we were talking, we started drinking," Lipa explained. "It was multiple shots. It was different types of shots -- gin, vodka, rum, tequila, all the ones you're not supposed to mix at the same time. About 12 of those in 45 minutes."
After the 45 minutes, Lipa explained that she went to the bathroom, only to not come out again for a long time.
"I started getting a little bit dizzy. I was like, 'I'm just gonna pop to the bathroom. I'm sure I'll be completely fine,' and I fall asleep, right there," she said, laughing.
"I went to the bathroom at that bar. It did not look like a luxury bathroom," Meyers noted.
"No, but for some reason, everything felt comfortable. I was very cozy," Lipa said.
She went on to share her one memory from the remainder of the day, saying, "The only thing I remember after that point is I remember I woke up in my bed and I just have this vision of my assistant, who really she saved my life, but all I heard was her telling my security, 'John, get the wheelchair!' I was full rag doll. I don't remember a thing."
Meyers has done the Day Drinking segment with several big stars including Kelly Clarkson, Lizzo, the Jonas Brothers, Ina Garten and more.
