Diddy Returns to Instagram to Celebrate Daughter Chance's 18th Birthday

Diddy celebrated his daughter's birthday on Sunday with an Instagram post devoted to Chance.

Diddy returned to Instagram on Saturday to celebrate his daughter, Chance Combs, turning 18.

In a post, the 54-year-old rapper and musician shared two pics of Chance -- who he shares with ex Sarah Chapman -- including one throwback pic with his young daughter, whose birthday is July 20.

"My babygirl turned 18 today. I'm so proud of you Chance. I love you. @myfancychance," he wrote in the caption, attaching emojis of a black heart, prayer hands and stars.

The first pic in the carousel shows a grown-up Chance posing in front of a sunset in a tropical destination while the second sees Diddy laying side by side with Chance as a young girl.

Outside of Chance, Diddy is dad to six other children. He shares four children with late-model Kim Porter: Quincy, whom he adopted, Christian "King" and twin daughters Jessie and D'Lila. He and Misa Hylton welcomed son Justin in 1993 and he shares 1-year-old daughter Love Sean Combs with Dana Tran.

Chance's birthday post marks the return of the rapper to Instagram after wiping his feed clean amid his legal issues in the spring. Back in March, Diddy's homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by Homeland Security Investigations in connection to allegations of abuse and sex trafficking.

Around the time, Diddy similarly broke his silence and posted a sweet snap of his youngest daughter, Love, dressed adorably for the Easter holiday.

Since then, the rapper has kept a low profile. In May, however, video emerged of Diddy assaulting his singer ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in never-before-seen footage from a hotel. The incident happened in 2016.

The footage was obtained and published by CNN and dated March 5, 2016 shows Combs grabbing, shoving, dragging, and kicking his then-girlfriend in clips compiled from multiple camera angles. The footage corresponds to an incident highlighted in Ventura's explosive 35-page lawsuit, in which she made graphic and disturbing allegations against Diddy, including a claim that he raped her in 2018.

Cassie and Diddy went public with their relationship in 2012, though they were romantically linked as far back as 2007. In 2008, they collaborated on his song, "Swagga Like Puff," and in 2009, they worked together on her song, "Must Be Love." They split for good in October 2018.
