Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are parents to three daughters and a 1-year-old son, Olin.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively picked some famous faces to be godparents to their kids. Just weeks after Taylor Swift referred to the couple's children as her godkids, Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy revealed his own relationship to one of their little ones.
Levy's comment came during a recent interview with Variety, in which the director discussed Lively and her kids' cameos in Reynolds' superhero film. Reynolds and Lively, who tied the knot in 2012, are parents to James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and Olin, 1.
"It just honestly was that they were available and always nearby," Levy explained as the reason for the family cameos. "A lot of times, we would call people into our edit room and have them record something."
"Little by little, all of the Reynoldses started being a part of the movie, including their youngest," he continued. "As the proud godfather of Olin, that might be my favorite voice cameo."
Levy's statement comes just weeks after Reynolds revealed Olin's name more than a year after the tot's arrival.
"I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here. I want to thank my kids, James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here," Reynolds, 47, told the crowd inside the New York City premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine. "I hope that, if I'm lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing -- that is, the contents of this movie -- that happens in your wondrous life. I love that my entire family is here."
Shortly thereafter, Reynolds confirmed that Olin is a boy, a first for him and Lively, 36, who previously welcomed three girls. That gender reveal came during a heartfelt video in support of Walking 4 Hope, in which Reynolds shared the story of John Bell, a father from Nottingham, England, who tragically lost his young son.
"I'm very grateful that you shared his story, and I want to share with you that I too have a son," Reynolds told Bell in the video. "Boy, John, if I love him 1/10th as much as you love Jake, I feel like I've done a pretty damn good job."
At the film's premiere, ET spoke to Reynolds, who shared what it means to him to have Lively's support in his life and career.
"She's amazing. She is so smart. Everything I do is in lockstep with her and now she just takes every step with me -- sometimes the scary steps, sometimes the ones that are, more often than not, aimed right at danger," he joked. "I am super grateful to her. She's just so smart and so funny and [she] like really, really helped in like every aspect of this movie."
