Here’s a new summer jam for your party playlist.
“Déjame sentir tu cuerpo en mi…”
Colombian group El Freaky teamed up with De La Ghetto and Paty Cantu for a hot new track, “A Mi Me Gusta.” The music video for the song drops Friday and only ET has an exclusive first look.
Inspired by the lucha libre culture, the music video was shot in Mexico City by director Christian Schmid Rincon and features badass female wrestling fighters battling it out with male counterparts. De La Ghetto shares most of his screen time with Cantu, whose sweet and edgy voice has similar qualities to that of Thalia and Karol G.
Staying true to his flashy style, De La Ghetto dons a few leather jackets throughout the video, paired at times with black shades or bold print shirts. Cantu, who embodies a chic street style look, shows off a variety of sultry and colorful outfits.
Watch the music video below:
"I loved being part of a group of artists who come from different cultural and musical backgrounds," Cantu told ET exclusively. "I felt proud to be able to showcase strong female Latinas in the music video, as well as our Mexican folklore by highlighting the lucha libre culture. De La Ghetto and Freaky are so incredible but the best part was the way they expressed their love for women and Mexico!"
Meanwhile, ET spoke with De La Ghetto at Premio Lo Nuestro in February, where he revealed how Daddy Yankee has influenced his career.
“I’ve been a fan of Daddy Yankee way before ‘Barrio Fino,’ since ‘Playero 37’ in the mid -'90s,” he told ET. “He was always my motivation...since I was a kid. He comes from el barrio and I come from el barrio, so when he made it, I knew I could do it too. He became the motivation for all of us. I always say he’s the JAY-Z of reggaeton.”
“He’s very low key and humble,” he added of the “Gasolina” singer. “Muy tranquilo, normal, él es súper chill. I love him. He’s like my big brother.”
