Cole Sprouse Admits He Doesn't Remember Much From Filming 'Suite Life of Zack & Cody' (Exclusive)

Cole played Cody Martin on the Disney Channel series in the mid-2000s.

While Cole Sprouse thinks of his Suite Life of Zack & Cody cast as family, that part of his life is all a blur to him.

The 31-year-old actor made the admission Monday during a chat with ET's Ash Crossan, who brought up what his TV mom, Kim Rhodes, revealed during a podcast interview in November. Cole and his twin brother, Dylan, portrayed Cody and Zack, respectively, on the famed Disney Channel series that aired in the early 2000s.

While on the Back to the Best podcast, Kim shared that during rehearsals, Dylan refused to make a fat joke written in the script when Kim was pregnant on the show.

"One of my favorite memories is Dylan had a line that was a fat joke, and he kept skipping over it," she shared. "It was like in the middle of a chunk of dialogue. So, he kept skipping this laugh line and skipping it and skipping and skipping it."

And when it came time to film in front of a live studio audience, Kim added that Dylan continued to skip the line, which prompted an unnamed executive producer to cut and implore Dylan to say the line. But Dylan stuck to his guns.

"[Dylan] goes, 'I would not disrespect any woman that way, let alone this woman. You write something funny and I'll say it,'" she said.

Cole said he had heard Kim had shared her story, but as far as recalling the experience -- or any experience, for that matter -- it's all a big blur.

"Yeah, I mean, honestly a lot of the cast and crew I still talk to from Suite Life. I think when you spend eight years with a crew inside a soundstage, it's kind of inevitable you guys become a little bit of a family," Cole tells ET. "That's very nice of her to say that. If I'm being fully honest, when you shoot that many episodes of a show, they kind of all blend together as one big amorphous memory. So, I don't really remember too much of that period."

He added, "The specific details are kind of lost. It was a different time. I love Kim. I'm glad to hear that she looks back on all that fun."

The Sprouse twins were only 12 years old when the series premiered in 2005 on the Disney Channel. The Suite Life of Zack & Cody aired from 2005 to 2008, followed by the spinoff, The Suite Life on Deck, which aired from 2008 to 2011. The Suite Life Movie, directed by Sean McNamara, also aired in 2011.

Meanwhile, Cole has a new project -- the horror comedy, Lisa Frankenstein, in which he co-stars with Kathryn Newton and Liza Soberano. It was directed by Zelda Williams and written by Diablo Cody.

Lisa Frankenstein hits theaters Feb. 9.
