The star passed away last month at her Florida home.
Cindy Morgan -- known for her roles in Caddyshack, Tron and the TV soap opera Falcon Crest -- has died of natural causes. She was 69.
According to TMZ, who first reported the news, Morgan died last month at her home in Palm Beach, Florida. The outlet states that Morgan's roommate called the police on Dec. 30 after returning home from a holiday trip and receiving no response from a knock on the actress' bedroom door. The roommate said she had last seen Morgan alive on Dec. 19.
The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office told TMZ that no foul play was suspected and an investigation was being conducted. The county rep later confirmed Morgan's death was from natural causes.
Morgan broke through with a memorable role as seductress Lacey Underall in Caddyshack in 1980. Her resume also includes two parts, playing Lora and Yori, in 1982's Tron, as well as Gabrielle Short and Lori Chapman over the course of 16 episodes between 1982 and 1988 on Falcon Crest. Her credits also included the films Galaxis and Silent Fury, and TV appearances in CHiPs, The Love Boat, Matlock, The Larry Sanders Show and more.
"Caddyshack was my first film and I'll say that the end product was so completely different, it was originally about the caddie," she said in a 2012 MegaCon Orlando interview. "So at first, I had nothing to lose to audition. It was fun. All I did was focus on making the person sweat. Look 'em in the eye, do that thing many women know how to do."
Commenting on her career, she said, "When you play with the legend, you just stay focused, do your job. Later, when you're done, it'll hit you -- It's quite remarkable."
