The singer's husband, Paul Costabile, shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday.
Christina Perri is a mom!
The "A Thousand Years" songstress and her husband, Paul Costabile, welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Carmella Stanley Costabile, on Wednesday.
"The greatest gift we’ve ever known!!! Welcome to the world Carmella Stanley Costabile born today. Mom and our little principessa are doing great. Dad can’t stop crying!" Costabile wrote on Instagram alongside a darling black-and-white photo of the couple kissing and Perri holding their new bundle of joy in her arms.
The 31-year-old singer, who tied the knot with Costabile in December, first announced that she was pregnant in August, sharing a sweet pic of her niece, Tesla, cradling her baby bump.
"Guess what?" she captioned the pic, which included the following message: "Tesla's little cousin is coming soon."
Just three days before Perri gave birth, the singer was reminiscing about her pregnancy on Instagram.
"(Part one) growing a baby was nuts! The best, the worst, the most challenging, for sure divine, sometimes scary, totally magical, but no doubt, unforgettable! ?song by @hodgesmusic?," she captioned a sweet slideshow video.
"(Part two) growing a baby was nuts! the best, the worst, the most challenging, for sure divine, sometimes scary, totally magical, but no doubt, unforgettable! ?song by @hodgesmusic?," she wrote on the second video.
Lastly for her third and final clip, she wrote, "(part three) growing a baby was nuts! the best, the worst, the most challenging, for sure divine, sometimes scary, totally magical, but no doubt, unforgettable! ?song by @hodgesmusic?."
Congratulations to the happy family.
