Christina Hall filed for divorce on July 16 and later filed documents claiming Josh diverted thousands of dollars from their accounts.
Christina Hall is embracing peace and tranquility amid her divorce from her third husband, Josh Hall.
The Flip or Flop alum shared a heartfelt selfie on her Instagram Story late Sunday, expressing her gratitude for a much-needed girls' trip to South Carolina.
"The pure peace I felt there was something I haven’t felt in a long time," Christina, 41, wrote. "It reminded me I am capable of feeling this daily when no one is messing with me and my life."
Christina traveled with close friends Stacy Evatt and Robyn Purpero to the serene neighborhood of Palmetto Bluff. The trio enjoyed boat rides, great food, and other relaxing activities, which seemingly provided Christina an escape from the turmoil of her personal life.
This trip comes amidst Christina's public accusations against Josh, 43, for allegedly transferring $35,000 of her money into his personal account. The Christina on the Coast host has frequently taken to social media to call out Josh, labeling him an "insecure man" and refuting his claims that she blindsided him with the divorce.
"[Josh] is heartbroken," a source told ET last month. "Like all marriages, there were rough patches, but he never thought they would end in divorce. He was committed to her and their family."
In a new video taken on Wednesday, the HGTV star addressed why she re-followed ex Ant Anstead on Instagram amid her contentious split from her estranged third husband. Christina recently made headlines for being on good terms with her first ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa. It seems as if she is also hoping for a cordial relationship with her second ex-husband.
"It's just an olive branch," Christina said in the video of re-following Ant. "And I feel like now is the time for us to put the past in the past."
"Well, look Tarek and Heather and I get along really well, and it's been really nice being able to co-parent with them like that," she explains. "And, obviously, Ant and I share Hudson and Hudson is an amazing kid. And so I feel like he deserves to have us get along, especially like, you know, at sports, in school -- it's time to like, put all that behind us."
Christina and Tarek share 13-year-old Taylor and 8-year-old Brayden. The two married in April 2009 and finalized their divorce in January 2018 after announcing their separation in December 2016. In the new video, Christina noted of Tarek, "He's got my back," and that they get along really well. Meanwhile, Christina and British TV host Ant share 4-year-old Hudson, who they welcomed in 2019. The bliss was short-lived as they announced that they had separated in September 2020 after less than two years of marriage. Christina filed for divorce in November 2020 and it was finalized in June 2021. That year, Christina began dating Josh.
Two months before filing for divorce, it was announced that Christina and Josh would be teaming up with Tarek and Heather for HGTV's The Flip Off. The new show was slated to pit the couples against each other to see who can find, buy, renovate, and flip a house for the biggest financial gain.
In the wake of the divorce news, ET learned that The Flip Off is still set to move forward. Last month, one person close to The Flip Off production said the show only recently started filming scenes "a few weeks ago" and the team behind the series is still "figuring out what the plan is moving forward."
When Christina started following Ant again, speculation that he would be replacing Josh on The Flip Off began. But Christina shut down those rumors in the video.
"No," she said with a laugh and a shake of her head. "No, for sure. It really would be good for ratings but no, I can't work with, you know, any more exes. I already work with Tarek. So no more exes."
However, Christina did not shut the idea down completely, saying, "Maybe season two." But she isn't giving anything away when it comes to revealing who will fill the Josh hole on the show. "You'll have to wait and see," she said.
As for dating anyone at this time, Christina said it's "too soon." It appears that she's focusing on herself because when she was asked to choose between the Lamborghini or the G-Wagen, she answered, "I'd go with the Lamborghini. It's so pretty. It's pricey, but you know what I feel like I kind of deserve it right now. I've earned it. It's time to take care of myself, not other people."
